The nose pads of our glasses always wear out before the frames or glasses do, so I purchase this kit to be able to replace them and no have to go in to the store to have someone else do the same thing. The kit is fantastic for the price. It includes a wide variety of nose pieces, screw drivers, and even extra screws. It was easy to replace the old ones on my wife's glasses, and overall faster and cheaper than going in. In fact last time I tried to get them replaced at the optometrist where I purchase the glasses the technician clearly did not know what they were doing and ended up installing two different sizes on the two sides, in addition to scratching the lenses. I love wearing wire glasses as the nose pads help them sit on my face more than eyewear that don't have them. I've had this same pair of frames for a couple of years and have noticed that the original nose pads started to fall off with even the slightest touch or bump. I bought this little kit about 2 months ago or so and have been pleasantly surprised at how well they are holding up. The only thing I don't like is that they turn green in the area they are making contact with the frames; maybe due to the metal or maybe just because of natural face oils oxidizing? I am not sure, but I do love the different sizes and was able to find a suitable size and have not have them fall out or wiggle around. Read more

I mean for 7 usd I didn't expect much... Screwdriver set is quality enough that the one I used didn't flex in my hand when I used it. Nosepads seem high enough quality and thick enough to replace the old ones, which were 9 years old. New pads are very comfortable, and most glasses will allow you a choice of which you want to install from at least a couple or few of the 8 different pads in the kit. New pads immediately made my glasses feel brand new again, and they no longer slide off my nose when I lean forward. They seem appropriate in terms of tackiness, cleanliness, and the size I picked out fit my nose perfectly. I didn't notice a chemical smell when opening the box or installing them. In fact, my old ones smelled worse from 9 years of gunk build up. Going to install a set on my spare glasses and take them in to warby parker to get new lenses. 7 usd is going to save me at least 250 USD because I don't need to replace either set of frames. Think smarter, get this kit. It's a no brainer value proposition. Don't be scared to screw and unscrew the little screws in your glasses.
