Eyeglass Repair Kit with Screws - All-in-One Glasses Repair Kit with Precision Screwdriver Tweezers Cleaning Cloth and Screws

With this set I was able to fix two pairs of glasses that I thought were beyond repair. That alone saved me hundreds of dollars short-term. On top of that, I put off purchasing a set of small precision screwdrivers because these have covered most of my needs and seem well made. I also used them to install some metal shoelace end caps, which required far more force than I expected - I was wrenching on them pretty hard. The tips seem barely worn when I thought for sure they would have been ruined. It took a few tries to find the correct screw because there are so many - so, just be patient and don't strip your threads. The ones I found fit well and have stayed in place for a couple weeks now. The other included items are nice but not terribly helpful. I do like the keychain screwdriver and even though my glasses don't use the nose pads, my wife's do, so maybe those will get used someday. Working at this size can be incredibly challenging and frustrating - it's nice that the kit included tweezers, but the ones included are for convenience; I found they often added a layer of frustration. I'd recommend using better tweezers for small work holding. Overall, this set paid for itself immediately and is a fantastic value especially if you like repairing things. Read more

Pkg arrived and the little case it all comes in is fine for storage for the flat head and Phillips head screw drivers. There is a set of plastic nose pieces to replace yours if need be and a lot of little screws for glasses. There is a nice pair of tweezers if need be. Many different selections of screws for your sunglasses or regular glasses. The tweezers make it easier to get the screws into the glasses, for someone like me who has arthritis. It's hard to decipher which screws are which that's my only complaint but all in all, it's great and I'm finally able to wear my prescriptions sunglasses again. Read more

The actual number of screws in each size is about half the number shown in the picture on the web-site. Otherwise the tools are handy and I found a screw that met my needs to repair my frames. There's likely more than enough screws for general repairs, unless you're going into the frame repair business. Read more
