I bought these because my husband keeps taking mine. Unisex style keep the peace in the house. I tend to buy bold colors so I don't accidentally sit on them. These are well made for the price. Update: I recently reordered these glasses again and unfortunately they aren't the same quality. I did compare with the older version I still had and the older frame is of a better quality. You can tell by the weight and feel. These frames are still a better quality and deal than most of the other readers I have purchased over the years. Read more

This is the THIRD order I have placed for these great reading glasses. I manage to loose them and need to have them with me at all times. I am very impressed with the spring hinges and others who have borrowed them from me think they are my prescription glasses because they are so sturdy and well made. NOT your average generic readers and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a better pair of glasses than the drugstore variety. The only negatives I have found are: the sunglass readers could be a little darker (but I live in FL and the sun is really bright here!) and I wish I could buy the same color in 6 quantity instead of the assorted. UPDATE Feb 2017: For the third time --three different glasses -- one of the screws that holds the side piece (ear piece?) has unscrewed itself and disappeared somewhere around my house. I wouldn't mind so much if these were the normal tiny screws that most glasses use, but these are unique and my collection of tiny replacement screws don't really fit. Check your glasses' screws regularly. Will ask the company for some replacement screws and update. Price and quality fine; and a salute to their customer service: one pair arrived broken at nose piece and immediately replaced by company. Will purchase again. z Read more

I agree that they are a little heavy but I am small female and I like their weight, so different strokes, yes? I just ordered a second package of the same ones: tortoise and black combination. They are well made. The only reason I go through glasses so fast is I chronically drop them and they get scratched. They are sturdier than other readers I have purchased from other vendors - and those were three times the cost if not more. Read more

I am surprised these glasses receive such high reviews. The lens itself has a glaring film so lack clarity. I just now am sitting at my desk at night with a desk light on and the lens I just cleaned still has a glare on the inside part of the glass (the clear ones are worse than the darker lenses). It is like it pics up light peripherally. I found it so annoying, I ended up taking them off and literally throwing them into the closet. LOL. I am one who with age needed reading classes so do not like it when I do not have a clear lens to see through and these glasses are always giving me an extra obstacle to overcome. I will say though that they seem more sturdy than other reading glasses I have purchased ...even after throwing them they are still intact but I really do not like them and will not purchase these again.
