This works very well to vacuum up pet hair, cat liter and dirt. If you are older or have back problems, this is a must have. It is easier to sweep the dirt over to this and let it suck it all up. The vacuum is very loud, but it only runs for a few seconds. Definitely worth the convenience. I have used it 3 times and have not had to empty the dirt yet.
