I prefer the comfort and convenience of web belts and this belt covers all the bases and more. This nylon web belts offers lengths ranging from 49” to 65” and is 1 1/2” wide. The belt is offered in 6 nylon colors. There is a size recommendation chart that offers a decent range, but I would definitely recommend sizing-up if in doubt as this belt allows you to size-down the belt length, if necessary.. The nylon material is stiff and extremely sturdy. I have several nylon belts for different purposes and their thickness varies. This belt is stiff enough to be a light duty belt for carrying purposes and comfortable enough to be a simple everyday wearing belt. The buckle is what separates this belt from others as it is actually clamped to one end of the nylon with a solid sharp-toothed clamp that actually feels like the buckle is permanently attached to the nylon. The nice feature of this is that you can cut the length of the nylon to fine-tune the sizing (which is why I recommend getting a size up if unsure of the right length). The open end of the buckle has a spring lever underneath that opens the “jaws” of the buckle for tightening and loosening the belt. The teeth on the clasp are extremely solid and really dig into the nylon to lock the belt into place … once the belt is on and adjusted, it stays in place. This has become my go-to “everything” belt. This is a really nice belt. The belt itself is strong yet flexible, and therefore very comfortable to wear. The nylon webbing feels and looks high quality. It is clearly well made and should hold up well over time. The buckle is attractive and holds the belt firmly in place without any slippage. I found getting the belt started through the buckle a little fiddly the first few times I put it on, but it got easier with use and is now no trouble at all. Loosening the belt to take it off is easier with this buckle than on other similar belts I own. The elastic band that holds the excess length against the belt is good quality, as well. I ordered the belt in black for waists between 30" and 36", and the nylon portion of the belt was 45". Since my waist is at the low end of the size range, the belt had lots of extra, unnecessary length. Adjusting the length was easy, although I was nervous about doing so and didn't cut off quite as much length as I could have. The belt came with instructions for how to shorten it, and following them was simple. I used a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the nylon, but wish I'd maybe used a stronger or sharper pair, then melted the cut end to keep it from unraveling, as the instructions describe. The clamp to hold the buckle on the belt is super easy to operate and holds firm. The presentation for this belt is exceptional, with a perfect-for-gifting box and nice soft drawstring bag. This is my first time using a ratchet tactical belt and after you use it about five or six times you get the feel of it and realize that this is an absolutely fantastic belt. It is not exactly stylish in terms of wearing it with jeans or a corduroys, but if you're wearing tactical pants hunting gear these this is an absolutely fantastic belt. It's made out of a very firm material and the ratcheting system on it makes it as tight or as loose as you want it with an easy quick release latch. I like how I can make this belt really firm and tight if I need to or loosen it up with just a flick of the finger. It does look really great with my tactical gear, but not so great with a pair of jeans. Overall, I'm very happy with this belt and I do enjoy the high-quality precision build of the buckle and the actual belt itself. I'm not exactly sure if it's going to break in overtime and get less firm, but I'm looking forward to using this bill every single time I go out. Read more

Purchased this in the blue, size 36-42. I wear a size 36 pants. The belt had a bit too much slack so I followed the instructions included and cut off about 4 inches of excess. The belt material itself is very thick and durable, the buckle is very solid and matches the belt well. I have quite a few ratchet style belts and most are easy to operate, but this one is very tight getting the belt into the buckle, and a bit cumbersome and hard to get it to release also. Otherwise the belt does stay on well with movement and doesnt slip out of place in the buckle it stays secure which is good. I will mostly be wearing this with my bathing suits which have belt loops. The material will hold up to water vs standard leather, and the material and color matches my bathing suits well. Read more
