I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of wide legged workout pants. Not as easy as you might think. They are mostly stretchy yoga pants or loungy and a little too think or too wide legged for a good solid hiit workout. With these pants I think I found a winner. They’re synthetic material so very lightweight, don’t hold onto water or sweat, and breathable. They’re not so wide legged that I’d trip over them in class. I wouldn’t say they’re the most flattering, but with a fitted top, I think they’re ok. They have pockets, which I love for outside of working out. They even have a tiny zip pocket inside one of the pockets which is a great idea to keep a key or credit card safe. Not sure I’ll ever use it tbh, but it’s a good idea, and totally unobtrusive. The only negative is that I’m pretty sensitive to the softness of fabrics, and something about the fabric on the elastic waistband is a bit itchy to me. Not everyone might experience this, but it’s a little on the uncomfortable side. Like a shirt with an annoying tag. Excited to try them out in an actual workout. Lovely fabric. It feels good, has a nice flow, and it’s not see-through, which I like. The high-waisted fit is petite-friendly and works well for my height (5'2). I took a size S, and an XS could have worked too because of how roomy they are especiallyin my crotch area. That said, something about the cut isn’t quite right. Yes, they’re palazzo pants and meant to be loose, but the shape feels a little off and could have been tailored better through the leg. They’re wearable and comfortable, just not as flattering as I hoped. For me, they don’t really feel worth $32, even though the material itself is nice. Good pants overall. Read more
Casual pants that can be dressed up or dressed down. Breezy material that will travel and pack well. Elastic waist with drawstring. I got the mediums and they’re a little tighter in the waist than I’d preset, but that is my biggest problem area, and often times when I go to the large in styles like this, the legs and hips are too wide. I’m 5’5” and got the 29” inseam and the length is perfect. These washed and dried nicely and are a nice light material. Maybe not the best pants for a cold winter day if you’re looking to stay warm, but these pants are very versatile style wise. Could be great for lounging and could also be dressy if needed. Read more
I ordered the 29” inseam but they were still too long on me. Without shoes I would probably need 1-1.5” hemmed so it’s just above the ground, unless I pull the pants up more but then it’s not comfortable around my lower back, like the tightness of it even though it’s not that tight. I guess my lower back is just sensitive to pressure..? I’m 5’2” and now (after eating a bunch more than average and indulging from the holidays and a cruise) 110lbs. The waist of the pants fit fine and is comfy when it’s around my hips, but then I’ll just need the pants hemmed if I key at on my hips/just below my belly button vs. around my waist. I really like the pockets and even the small zippered pocket that’s above the larger one on the right. Read more
