These lights are awesome! I love that they’re motion-activated and that you can adjust the brightness. I put one in the kitchen and another in the kids’ bathroom, and they’ve been a lifesaver—I no longer have to leave lights on all night. These are exactly what I needed, and perform way better than the cheap ones!! Selectable color temperature is awesome, as you can dial up the tone you want. motion sensors work consistently, and reliably. they pick up movement in a wide arc, so you dont have to wave your hand right below them, to get them to turn on. mine are mounted under kitchen cabinets, and turn on as you approach the countertop. mounting system is excellent. battery life has also been excellent. I use them A LOT, and still get a week or two, between charging. they recharge quickly, and you dont have to be forever buying batteries. These little lams are very user friendly, the installation is a kids game. the only thing, but is not a bad one, is the battery duration if you leave it with the sensor to be activated all the time. I say is not bad, because any battery will discharge if its on all the time. Read more

I bought these to go in my laptop bag so I can always have light no matter where I am in the world. Nice quality, with a durable aluminum/plastic case. They are compact, rechargeable, magnetic, and with adjustable temp and brightness and motion detection they are perfect for travel. I guess my only real concern is moisture, but I'll but carry them in a ziplock bag and they should be fine. I'm sure they would be great for any use - closets, pantries, stairs, sheds - since they just work great and are easy to operate. Very happy with my purchase. Read more

These are great lights. I bought both the 8 in and the 14.5 in. They have great motion sensing capability, 3 colors, and 5 brightness levels. They automatically turn off after 20 seconds, which is a pretty reasonable time. Easy to stick onto a flat clean surface. The magnets work well and allow you to remove the light for charging. I bought the first version of these lights in June 2025. They worked better than I expected, providing adequate light in areas with poor or no lighting, like closets and storage areas. They have magnets for metal surface mounting plus adhesive tape for other surfaces. A key feature is the motion sensor which turns them on and off automatically. Despite coming on multiple times per day, these lights have worked with no recharging for more than three months, even on the brightest light level. Because they worked so well, I bought more and found they have been improved. They are now slightly wider, provide more light with 5 light levels (previous version has 3), and have a better surface mounting system with stronger magnets. I'm now also using them as power failure emergency lights. The only issue I've found is the adhesive tape. It's probably stronger than it needs to be, at least on painted walls. Removing the tape also removes the paint. My solution for this is to use painters tape under the adhesive. The fixture is light enough that the tape doesn't pull off the wall, at least so far. The light is simple to install and use. The brightness is excellent and offers low, medium or bright settings. With different tones as well. My only draw back is that the battery doesn’t last long. It’s easy to charge. And the charge time seems to vary between about 6-12 hrs before fully charged. I’m not sure if that’s because of the room temperature or if the battery was fully depleted or just low, but charge time in my opinion is not bad. It’s just the battery charge for me doesn’t last as long as I’d like it to. So I end up charging these 2-3 times per week. Moving forward I’m thinking about converting to wired units. The need to keep charging these units every other day caused me to leave 3 stars. Because I have to take them all down and charge for several hours then put them back up. So simply put, I like everything about the unit but how frequently it has to be charged. Would be nice if the batteries lasted at least a month, then I’d give somewhere around 4 - 4 1/2 stars.
