This container is bigger than I need, however that is not a complaint since I knew the dimensions when I ordered it. I'd have liked something a little smaller, but didn't see any with the features I wanted. This is actually for my dogs! I started one of my dogs on chewable joint supplements, and it got to where I couldn't remember whether I'd given her one already that day. So I bought a smaller, once a day, version of this pill holder that worked well and I could even cram in a tiny treat for my other dog. I also didn't want to leave an entire bottle anywhere that they could possibly get into it, so I like only having at most a week's worth of pills in it. Now the dog has had to start on twice a day thyroid pills, and with those it's much more important for me to keep the dosing schedule straight. So I bought this AM/PM container. I particularly like the locking mechanism on this. Even though I put it out of reach, I worry about accidentally leaving it in reach and having the dogs get into the pills. Hopefully they'd have a hard time getting into the separate compartments. And not only does it lock (or you can supposedly disable the locking mechanism), the lids also snap on, so I think it's reasonably secure. Update: After a little over a year of use, one of the lids broke off as I was opening it. I'd have hoped the plastic was a little stronger than that but I guess you can only bend it so many times before something gives. (Plus I took the organizer to the kennel when I boarded the dog for 2 weeks so they may not have been as careful). I still like the box and will replace it as I have come to rely on it for those "did I give the pill today" questions, although I may look for a slightly smaller model. Read more

I purchase this case before and loved it. So I was thrilled to be able to find it again on Amazon. The pervious case had seen better days and (3+ years) was in need of replacement. It’s well made. I use it daily to store my daily vitamins. I take individual pills, some being large in size (triple strength fish oils, etc) therefore I needed a large vitamin case. The bestselling point beside the large individual compartments is the easy open and close locking device. It prevents all the pills from popping out of the container when retrieving pills from one compartment. I hate it when I pop open the compartment to get Thursday’s pills and Monday, Fridays and Sundays pills fall out as well. This case prevents that. Yes, it is bulk and not the best for traveling but I only use it for home use. I recommend it. Read more

Edit after 4 years: increased 1 star as these have turned out to be the best organizers available - and I've tried several dozen types (at least) over 30+ years of taking meds at least twice a day. I bought 4 of these, and I fill them once a month. My ability to remember to take all my pills is so much better when I don't have to fill them every week. So - yes, some of the letters eventually rub off, but this one is no worse than the dozens of other organizers I've used in the last 3 decades. And yes, opening the compartments to fill them monthly or when I have med changes is a pain. What this one has over all the others is the larger-than-all-the-others (that I've found) compartments that LOCK. I can't tell you how often I drop these. In the past, with the push button or normal friction latching organizers, that meant that I would have to tape everything shut and replace the tape at least once a month... or have to separate all the pills that scattered everywhere back into their compartments. 2 of these I've had for 4 years. The other two I bought two years ago. Knock on wood - none of the latches or locks have broken or failed (though occasionally I fail to latch a compartment completely and end up scattering the pills in that compartment when I drop the organizer. The last thing that makes getting 4 of these helpful, in addition to asking my docs for 90-day rx for all my maintenance meds, is that when I fill the organizers up for the month, if there is less than another month of pills left in the bottle, I start the refill process early and ask the pharmacy to fill it as soon as the prescription is eligible for refill. Then I just need to read my text alert to know when to pick refills up. Original 4 star review: But otherwise, as described. I wish both temporary unlock buttons were on one side, or both available on both sides - this not only needs two hands to open but it also needs to be resting on something. I’m fairly agile with my hands, but I believe this would be literally impossible for anyone with hand issues to use. I got this because I have a tendency to bump this and knock it off of wherever I have it. The lock keeps compartments from easily just popping open when that happens. I think it’s worthwhile, but I imagine not many people would agree. Read more

EZY DOSE Pill Organizer. SAVE YOUR MONEY. The purpose of this day of the week AM/PM pill organizer is to display the days of the week for trackability. However, after only 6 weeks of use the days of the week have peeled off and/or faded. The container is secure and still holds the pills. It is easy to open, but you have to count the days to make sure you are on the correct day. The last pill organizer I had for years and still has the days of the week noted. I needed something larger and switched to this product. Read more

Update: I have had for only 1 month and the text is already starting to fall off in one corner. I guess I will apply some optically clear tape over all the texts. I was surprised to see this issue arise so soon. Perhaps I will create felt separator sheets to store. Otherwise, clean and neat. This has just the right labeling for me. I can open each compartment separately while closing the others. The other day my pill box fell over on the floor and of course nothing opened. I use three different sets: (1)14 dayer and (2) 7 dayers. Sets me up for 2 weeks three times a day. I still recommend it for its other features. Read more

This helps me keep with my medication. Sometimes I can't keep up with whether not I have taken my medication especially at night. The EZy DOSE helps me be able to just look at it to know if I have taken my medication or not. Read more
