I got the XL one, and it is big enough for multiple large supplements as well as the prescription tablets I take. The locking feature is good, however in my last trip the open/lock tab got moved and one opened during travel. For the next trip I put it in a ziplock back that held it securely. Read more

Brilliantly designed and the best I've found. I read a lot of reviews complaining that they are impossible to open! Well, the problem is that people don't read the instructions! LOL There is a little white lever/button at the left end of the organizer, clearly stated in the instructions, that if pushed in, lid will open easily. I call this a brilliantly designed pill organizer because many times, I've opened one compartment, dumped out the contents, and annoyingly the next compartment also opened and spilled out. I would then have to try to separate the contents, hoping I did this correctly. This brilliant organizer locks those lids tightly closed until you PUSH that little white button to release the lid! Simple! I also LOVE the large sized compartments. I will soon replace ALL of my vitamin organizers with these. LOVE, LOVE LOVE this! Read more

Last week I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Suddenly I’m taking more pills than I know what to do with while awaiting surgery. I’m new to the whole pill organizing market, but it looks like I got lucky on my first attempt. This little thing is great. The 4 time slots are exactly what I need. It’s small enough to fit in jean’s pockets. My favorite feature is the locking mechanism, which works great so far. Five Stars. Read more

I just bought green ones and an assortment and was happy to get blue and green. i love the colors and colors are important to me. I also love that the boxes are large because sometimes i do chose to take herbal suppliments though i am not doing that now. i feel secure in knowing that these boxes are going to hold whatever i put in them. i like the little section piece and decided to separate my vitamins from my pills. there is no reason for that, but i do take large vegan vitamins. i got new pill boxes because i was using a smaller, clear version of these that i had gotten elsewhere much cheaper that did not lock. i cant count how many times either I or one of my cats have knocked over the box and every pill and vitamen has gone flying across the floor, under and over things, some never to be seen again. the locks were an exciting development! i have been looking for solutions to annoyances in my life. i just got these boxes and loaded the first 6 weeks. However i found that my first week's pill box's locking mechanism has already failed. it slips down inside the groove. if i push it out with a pen, the box will lock again, but i will have to do this every time. i don't know if this will go one with every box. I will use still use the box and i am not interested in finding others. if it turns out to just be this one box out of the 6 i got, i will replace it. other than this issue, I am quite happy with the purchase and see myself using these boxes for many years to come. I like this weekly pill container as I have enough room to keep my morning & evening doses separate. It also has a push release button which you need to engage so you can open up each the day’s daily meds. Read more

I have the 3XL version of this locking pill organizer and it is well built and has a good locking mechanism. I wanted a smaller version to use for travel and thought this would be perfect. It is made with very poor quality and the “locking mechanism” is useless. The 3XL has a spring that keeps the container locked at all times, this smaller version has no spring and it can easily slide from locked to unlocked on its own. Within 3 days one of the doors cracked in half, I don’t even know how. Keep looking if you want a well built locking pill organizer. Read more

I've used EZ Dose locking pill organizers for years. Several of my pills are on the larger side, so it can be a challenge to get them in a single compartment of even the "large", so I gave this one a try. It's definitely plenty big enough to hold those horse pills. I've downrated it because the locking mechanism is quite different from the smaller devices. On those, there's a spring-loaded bar that runs the length of the organizer. You press one end of the bar, and that unlocks all the compartments. You open the one you need, and since you've released the bar at that point, everything is now nice and secure. To be fair, that does require a little two-handed coordination (which might be an issue with an older person) - but when I toss it in a pouch in my purse, I do not worry about it popping open and spilling everything. With the extra-large, there is a single bar that protrudes from one end or the other. When it's to the left, there's a green button visible. That means it's unlocked. When it's to the right, there is a red button - that means it's locked. Toss the whole thing in a bag, and it's quite easy for the wrong one to get pressed, meaning it's just a matter of time before one or more sections opens and dumps the contents. Locked or not, the Sunday section opens quite easily too. For sitting on a table, to prevent against accidental bumps or being knocked onto the floor, this will work fine. But for someone on the go, it is not useful at all. I do put mine in my purse when traveling, but only in a zippered pouch. Read more
