I have been using an inexpensive a.m./p.m. plastic pillbox that I bought at my local pharmacy. The thing is flimsy and the plastic hinges break so that the lids fall off and if you aren’t careful, the pills scatter everywhere when you turn the box over to receive a dose. This pillbox is exactly what I needed. A much more sturdy, rigid plastic with sturdy hinges, a silicone gasket to make each compartment, watertight, and plenty of room. It has substantial locks on each individual compartment, making it trustworthy for travel, or for being carried in your purse . The lid of each compartment stays open when opened, making it easy to fill. Unless I drop this thing, I don’t see the hinges breaking anytime soon. I bought the rainbow one to be my daytime container and the blue one to be my nighttime container. I am extremely happy with it, but I will caution that the locks take some strength and dexterity, so it may not be a good choice if you have trouble with your hands. Read more

This solution for keeping med compartments from opening in a suitcase or when dropped is the best I’ve found. It’s quite sturdy although one piece did break off when dropped on a very hard floor and down some stairs. But generally way better than any other med sorter. I’ve bought 3 — 2 at first and when that door broke, I got a replacement because this is so good. And I’ve used med sorters for YEARS. The colors are pleasant and would be great for people who have trouble reading for whatever reason. The compartments are large enough for someone like me who takes a lot of large meds. A winner. Each compartment latches securely, so no more spills in my bag. The daily compartments are also big enough for daily meds and supplements. The only change I would make is rounded corners for retrieving and returning toy bag. Read more

Got this because my B vitamins kept turning color from the humidity in the summer. It’s a bit bigger than I’d prefer, but it fits fish oils and calciums with room to spare, so good long term investment. The clasps are very tight, but I haven’t found them to be too difficult to open, but perhaps if you had severe arthritis. The seals can interfere with each other when opening, but it’s not a deal breaker. I do miss my case that the days could pop out separately, but I’m very happy with the sturdiness and moisture proofing this one provides. Recommended if you have humidity issues. Read more

5 stars for the size of each compartment and the waterproof gasket. I can put a month to 1 1/2 months of script pills in each compartment, which is great...gets rid of all the bottles. 0 stars for durability. I had this thing for a month before I opened and loaded it up... and today, the clear hinge ball on the Wednesday compartment broke off. That compartment is now useless because the lid doesn't stay on, let alone just closed! The idea and size of this organizer is great, build and durability is junk! Didn't last a month! Read more

I really liked this pill box. Air tight seal so vitamins don't get oxidized. Wide mouth for easy loading. Deep enough to hold several pills. Colorful. However, the plastic pieces holding the clasps closed have been breaking and a clasp broke off. This is with normal use over 7 months. I will replace it with something else. Read more
