Definitely read a few articles of how to be successful when training with a shock collar. If you just slap them on the dogs and begin pressing buttons you will just confuse the dog. Had the collars 3 days and here is the report card. Our 2 older dogs have a general sense of what these collars can do as we have had some in the past. Our Mastiff pup has no clue. Since the unboxing our oldest dog has become an angel. Our Middle child acts up until reminded of the collars presence. Our pup is learning slowly that the vibration when he barks is a correction and not just a fly on his ear. He has lots of droopy skin so the shock function will only work if we cinch it down and I dont want to do that. He is the easiest to correct of the 3 so shocking wont be necessary. He is also the dumbest and it takes time for things to click for him We have twins due in Dec and the barking was out of control. I was terrfied that they were going tk destroy what little time I might get when the twins sleep. Literally barking at leaves falling around outside the window. They are bored so they bark. Im using the collars to teach them that they have a basket of toys to play with instead of barking for no reason. Since setting the collars up, barking has been reduced to 2 events per day... Mailman and the Cat sitting outside the window for breakfast. Really happy with the outcome. Tl;Dr- has turned my once chaotic house into a serene living space again. Read more
Great price for 3 . The box was small when it came in the mail. But all 3 were in there... lol. Charged them up no problem. Put on the dogs. (Bullys) only had to use sound on older dogs.. the puppy had to get one quick zap. Then the sound is all she needs now. The flashlights on them are awesome. Plus there's one on the remote.. only dislike I have is the led that flashes to notify they are on is very bright and flashes every few seconds.. hve to charge every few weeks or so.. depending on use... but they work just as well if not have more features than the ones i paid over 200.00 for. We have 1 pitbull and 2 pitbull mixes. We used these collars to train them. They work great ! Our dogs come when they hear the beep of their collar or even one of their packs collars. We love the safety reflecting stripe as well as the flashing lights for night location. Our dogs are our first line of protection against coyotes, mountain lions as well as the 2 legged preditor. Therefore we need them to obey when we call. The beep on their collars assures that they hear that command under any circumstance. We rarely use the shock feature ... the dogs learn real quick that they don't like that. They almost always come when beeped. Sometimes they are distracted and ignore the beep but the vibration gets them moving in the right direction in a hurry. Our dogs are well known in our rocky mountain valley for being well behaved. Be it in town or on public lands. We have purchased 3 sets; 2 sets of 2 collars and 1 set of 3 collars. The only complaint I have is that sometimes I need more that 1 remote. I have a call into the company to see if I can purchase them separately. I have reccommended them to many people and have text the Amazon link to 5 others. They work ... But as with anything you have to be consistant and compassionate in your training. These are a training tool to be used as reccommended. Read more
This is a cheap generic e-collar set that is 3 collars, one remote. I have used e-collars for many years, including the Tritronics Sportdog 60 that I paid several hundred dollars for in 2002 that lasted more than 15 years with one refurbishment and the ridiculously unreliable Petainer. I didn't know if I was coordinated enough to adapt to one remote for three dogs, but I think I could like this one. I spent a day working with them in the house with it learning the modes. It's easier than I thought it would be because once you set the stim levels on each collar, you only have to change the channel for the correct dog. The blinking light on it is amazing. I can see this one outside in the dark and easily locate my dogs. That's a first. Normally I can't see that in their fur. This one also has a mode that turns that green blinking light to bright white light, but I discovered it by accident and haven't been able to duplicate it yet. 100 settings for shock, nobody requires more than a 6. I normally only have to use that if the nose goes down and the tail goes up or if somebody is running at Mach speed toward an open gate and has their ears turned off. They all respond very well to vibrate. 100 settings for vibrate. Anything over 50 is just a rattle. That kinda sux for Boo. Boo is deaf and I use the vibrate mode to communicate with him. That feature on this one is kinda lame. Fortunately, Boo is mah boy and almost always has eyes on me. He gets a lil anxious if I get around the corner of a building and he didn't see where I went. I really only ever have to correct him when he throws himself down in a tantrum and won't budge. The beep though. I dunno what it is about the beep. They hate it. Just to clarify, I do NOT use the beep as a cue they are doing it right. Never have. I've used a clicker, but they get physical and verbal praise. I use the beep to locate my dog because they are allowed to wander out of sight on the property. If I can hear it, we're good. If they pop out of the woods and say "Here I am", we're good. I use the beep to get their attention. (Except Boo.) So we worked with this for a while and none of them are new to e-collars, but this one is just different. I beeped Leesa in the house probably 100 times and she was good with it. Ears up. Leesa loves attention. Oh but she starts wandering off outside, I beeped her, and the next thing I know, I am wearing Leesa. This brand is sold by F-color or some such and FBA, but there is no distinctive branding on the box. All it says on it is Rechargeable and Waterproof. Initially, I received the wrong one, and the box contained one collar, just the black one, and no charger, but even that box is identical. Probably the only difference between this color and the similar ones by other sellers is the seller and their delivery and customer service. =============== Changed from 4 star to 1 star The listing pretty clearly states that this product has a one year warranty that F Color will honor. Purchased in August, 2019 and 8 months after purchase, the LED on the controller no longer works, you can't see the screen and one of the collar LEDs no longer lights up. It took almost a month and 29 emails of a song and dance to have them try to NOT honor the warranty. They finally did send a replacement, but it also doesn't work lol. The LED on the collar doesn't light up, just like the one it was replacing. Also the NEW remote randomly fails to communicate with any of the three collars. Just another amazon junk peddler.
