I'm waiting to change our oil again before installing this. I used the original drain plug to determine the thread size for the used Cadillac we purchased. I have a similar (different model #)one installed on our Ford Raptor pickup and it has made oil changes easier, cleaner, and faster. easy to install seems to be quality built to last the life of the truck. so far been on for a few months with no leaks. this makes changing my oil a lot easier. great value for the money. was worried about it hanging to low and getting damaged, but tucks above the crossmember. no worries about that. will buy for my other vehicle. great design Read more

Bought this for a 2022 Duramax L5P and it would not tighten. Website states it is compatible. Wish it worked and I used them on other engines and it makes draining oil a breeze. Read more

Adding a Fumoto valve as a replacement to the drain plug on your cars oil pan is a smart investment. Makes changing oil easy, no wrenches need, simply unlock the clip rotate and out comes the oil, once drained rotate back and lock the clip, done. Now if you one of these people that like to let quicky lube or one of those quick oil change places this little device could save you thousands. You read almost every day about someone who needed an engine replaced or oil pan replace because the quick oil change place didn't tight the plug and it fell out or stripped the threads requiring an oil pan replacement. The Fumoto valve makes oil changes idiot proof. Easy to install, on you next oil change remove the oil change drain bolt as you normally would and install the Fumoto valve and your done.
