This camera was super easy to install and set up. I do have a bit of cord that I couldn't manage to tuck into the back part because the window was so slanted, but it doesn't bother me. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this and do have a few notes. First of all, this camera works at the same time I have my Android Auto app enabled so I can use navigation screen as well as record simultaneously. Also, I've seen some comments where people say it needs to be reconnected all the time. The camera starts recording as soon as the car turns on. It says out loud "start recording" and you can see the red light flashing that it is recording. If you look at your app at that time it will tell you to connect your phone. You will need to connect your phone to view or download the videos. In fact once you turn the car off you cannot access anything that you did not download. So the connected feature is used mainly to view the videos. It does not have to be connected to start recording. I jumped in my car and drove to work without connecting my phone to the camera through the app and when I got to work I connected to the camera and saw that it had recorded my entire drive, so that's the deal there. The camera video quality is great and has a photo capability if you want to take a photo of say a plate or something. In my opinion this is a great camera for the price.
