Good for below zero weather

These pants are very good for cold weather. The trouser materials are very heavy, so if you'll be walking a lot you might want to use a belt - there are belt loops. The pants have deep enough front pockets, no back pockets. There is a comfortable elastic waist band in the back. The pants run kind of long, but if you're hoping to keep your ankles warm, this is okay. The outer layer of fabric is stretchy and ribbed but still presentable for office or classroom. Inside the fleece lining is not fuzzy, it's kind of like thick nylon - but it stops the cold. I was able to walk from parking lot to building without my legs going numb.
