I've always only used one strap when I've worn a backpack, so I decided to get a bag that only had one strap to save myself some trouble. It's very comfortable and it can hold a surprising amount. I can comfortably fit my water bottle, wallet, and some snacks inside. If I have more, I can clip my water bottle to the front of it! It's very handy. I like that you can switch the direction of the strap to suit your right or left arm. It's pretty small but you really can fit quite a bit in it. There's a pocket on the inside closest to my back where I can safely keep my wallet. There are two mesh pockets on the outsides which I assume are designed for bottles, but the average water bottle (like a HydroFlask or Contigo) wouldn't fit without falling out.
