Best buy I found, quality instruments at a low price
These instruments have some weight to them; they're sturdy and sharp, and for $7 I got lucky and picked the right product to order. Comes with a metal storage case that has a molded liner to fit both instruments. One instrument has a straight rasp on one end, a curved rasp on the other for grinding down the corners of the nail. Helped my painful ingrown toenail.
I work in a hospital and admit I made fun of people coming to ER for ingrown toenails- till I had one. So unbelievably painful and affected how I walked. I did buy a treatment at Wally World to soften the skin first for a good few days. Then I went into mini surgery with these tools. Was able to release the offender - so important to not trim nail too short like I did or it will just happen again. Sometimes I feel pressure in the same spot if I trim nails a bit too short but I just use the file one and I am good. I didn’t have to admit my self into ER but I will never make fun of anyone that gets these ingrown toenails again. It takes a bit of learning as well. Cause sometimes the offender is buried or has separated from main nail. It’s a clever tool to help you get to it. Worth every penny. P.S. please do go emergency room if signs of infection! Read more
