My cats like this and in my research ghe fancy feast classic pate has better ingredients and nutrition compared to other foods on the market while also being affordable. The first ingredient is chicken/beef/turkey depending on the flavor I always mix the pate with water to give my cats hydration. The pate mix with water is more on the crumbly side? My cats live on this stuff and are healthy. Each cat gets 1 and half cans a day, with a 1/6 cup of high quality cat kibble. They are healthy and happy. They like the pate flavors the best. We buy it with subscribe and save as its the best price. They have gone up in price and they are expensive for the amount of food. But the ease of opening a can and being the perfect portion for a meal is worth it. I feed 1 can in the morning, and a half a can in the evening with a little kibble and some water. It works fine with two cats to share 1 can in the evening. When i had only 1 kitty, I feed a whole can in the evening as well with a little kibble. That kitty got a little chunky as I didn't buy a really high quality kibble to save money. She did live a healthy 13 years.
