This insulated water bottle looks and feels great, though I accidentally ordered the 20oz size instead of a larger capacity. Even after washing it and using it a few times, there is still a noticeable stainless steel smell. On the plus side, it does keep ice water cold overnight, which is excellent. The spout is slightly curved, though it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference compared to straight ones. I do like that the lid features a lock to keep it secure after you click it closed. However, what I really dislike is the silicone ring on the lid. It is far too thin (2–3mm) compared to other insulated bottles I’ve owned. There is no leverage for removing it for cleaning—no pull tab and no way to pry it off with a standard bottle brush tool. The fit is so tight that I struggled significantly, eventually having to use a toothpick to get it out. Why make it so hard to clean?
