I didn't know I needed this tool but it has been amazing. It is quite bulky but is very comfortable and easy to use. It has a few different torque and speed settings and has been able to get every job I've thrown at it down. I was reluctant as I had been eyeing much more powerful (and expensive) updated power drills like the pros use on the job. When it was my turn to do some installations and small projects around the house, I figured I'd rev-up this modern gadget. As I was faced with doing some heavy duty screw driving, I put the torque setting up to the max at 7.0 and whoa did it perform! I'm a fairly strong guy with a good grip, but driving a machine screw through my HVAC aluminum casing was a breeze, and I don't know that I could have driven those screws by hand without stripping them. This thing is fantastic. I work on electronics a lot and I have to remove many screws. It has plenty of torque to remove the screws and then you can set the torque when re-inserting them to your desired level. Very well built. Would recommend this to anyone. Read more

The fantikk drill (k2 ultra)fits great in hand with a ton of power , their screwdriver (S2) works great also with enough power and can get into tight spaces...but this apex S1 falls right in between, not quite enough power and quite to big to fit in tight spaces...I find myself either using the S2 or K2 but rarely going to this product for every day use. The display is bright but not lcd, it looks more like a old digital alarm clock style screen. It feels well built like all other fantikk products, consider if you would get more use from power or size before deciding on this one. Read more
