This e-scooter is perfect as a first motorized wheeled platform for my 10 year old daughter who is timid and cautious about going too fast. It has 2 speeds. Slow is about walking pace. Great first electric scooter for kids. Very simple to assemble and use. It doesn't have a throttle, instead the motor gradually kicks in at about 3 mph. This is much safer than a throttle, especially for young kids. It also has two speeds, 6 and 10 mph, so they can go faster when they are more comfortable. The handlebar is adjustable which was important because my six year old granddaughter is a little short. It arrived quickly from Amazon in great shape She really loves hers. Couldn't be happier. This is an electric assisted scooter. There is no throttle to control, the motor kicks in whether you want it or not when your child hits 3-4mph. Other than that this is a brick. Not fun for my 8yo to ride. Read more
