This and a hulken is all I need for a weekend dance competition. I pack all the costumes and my daughters and my clothes/toiletries in the dance bag, then use the hulken for coolers and all the miscellany that gets thrown in when we are running out the door. I have a Glamr Gear solo bag which is great for an intown comp or a small dressing room but this bag is PERFECT for out of town comps. The hanger mechanism is easy and smooth, no issues raising and lowering. So much room. Handles are good. Durable and I like the wipe off finish. This appears to be just as good as the other brands and price was not the isssue for me - fast shipping was. This one delivered everything I wanted in the more expensive brands but arrived in TWO DAYS!!! LOVE!! And so did my golden, who thinks every picture is of her. Read more

We loved the color of the bag, the shimmer and the iridescent purple is beautiful. My main issue is the velcro part on the carry strap (the part that holds the handles together) was way off center making it nearly impossible to hold correctly. The zippers are very “sticky” and it took a lot of effort and tries to get them to close. We also found the telescoping handle to be a little short. I am very impressed with this dance bag. We have 2 others by another well known brand that we love, but they are much larger than this one. The size of this one is a plus especially on competition days when you might have only one or two costumes. The size is still roomy enough to fit a few garment bags, makeup, extra tights, shoes, and other accessories. There is a small insulated pocket on the front for some snacks/water, a shoe pocket on the front as well with ventilation holes, and a larger pocket on the the back. Inside you have the main space and a mesh zipper area on the top of the bag. All of the pieces of the rack (and the inner supports) will fit into the included gray bag for easy transportation and to keep everything together. The rack is relatively easy to put together and I had it up within a few minutes. The telescoping poles just slide into the inside of each side of the bag and stop when in place. The rise up and down pretty easily and the cross bar will slide onto the top. I will say the rack is one of the more sturdy ones that I've felt. I like how it has a portion that is higher than the bar because you can hang a mirror there easily or makeup bag or something else. Also the color is FABULOUS and I love the feel of the material it is made of--you will stand out and shine! The size is easy enough for my 8 year old to roll around herself and the handle feels sturdy which is important once it is full with your costumes etc--these bags can have a mind of their own if the handle is wobbly! Now, why did I take off a star if I seem to love the bag so much? Well, it is mostly to do with the rack. I wish there was a key or something to keep the bottom poles in place in the bag. Or to let me know that they are definitely in the right spot. It would also be wonderful if the size bars could just telescope back down in place to save time in set up. Also, compared to the name brand bags that we have, this Fanwoli 23" bag is smaller and more expensive ($30 more) AND lacks things on the rack set up that I love about our other bags. However, it is a very nice and pretty dance bag and the quality is there for sure. I am happy that we have this one in our collection. Read more
