Great size, easy install and lovely light. This fixture has 5 bulbs, the internal shade is fabric with a bottom shield for light filtering giving a nice glow. The chain was long enough for me to offset the fixture over my table nicely. It way a beautiful way to spruce up my kitchen area and tie in different wood tones with neutral colors. Took about 3 minutes to put together and 5 to install. The wires are both black but labeled for Neutral and Live to make it easy peasy. You will not be disappointed at all when you purchase this light fixture. We bought the "Bohemian" style made of abaca rattan over wire and is it ever well made. The size was exactly as stated, 18x18x52 (the 52 is the chain you adjust to the level you want over your table). You need to figure out the size you need for the area before ordering and there is a ton of info on how to do this online. Another plus was the ease of installation in our diner as my husband had it up and running quickly.
