I have misplaced the small mirror that I like using which is why I ordered this because it seems portable enough. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT 1. The mirror case has some weight. It feels pretty sturdy. 2. I like the embossed rose design. It's nice and tactile. I also like the black color. 3. I like that there is a place where I can fill it with a pressed powder palette. 4. The case is pretty good when opening and shutting it. 5. The powder puff is ok. It's quite thin so that the case could accommodate a palette. 6. The mirror glass itself is nice. 7. Probably the only negative thing I can say about this case is that the top part of the outside is a fingerprint magnet. The bottom part is textured so it's fingerprint resistant. 8. This didn't come with a bag or a case. It's a small and compact mirror case that can be stored easily as it's very portable. This Fashion Creative Luxury Metal Beauty Sponge Case is beautiful and would make a great addition to any make-up collection. I really wanted it for the mirror and most likely will not be using the sponge. I have to say, however, the sponge is very soft and a nice bright white color. It has a little finger loop to help hold it while applying make-up. The mirror is very clear and does not magnify, which I liked. In my opinion it has an old, antique look to it, but still a modern feel. It is great for travel, but also to keep in your purse, which is what I do with it. This arrived in a little rougher shape than I'd like. The box was ripped and the item itself was a bit dirty and scratched, which wasn’t a great first impression. That said, once I cleaned it up, I liked it. It’s nice looking, feels solid, and has a good weight to it that makes it feel higher quality than I was expecting. My mother has often told me over the years that one of her biggest regrets was not holding on to a small compact that belonged to her mother. She always described it as mirrored, with a small rose on the front. She gets a little emotional talking about it, and I've never been able to fully replace it, but I hope that this beautiful compact comes close. This arrived very well packaged, with the compact carefully wrapped in bubble wrap in a small box. It holds a puff beautifully but functions well as a simple mirror. There is no distortion or chipping in the mirror, and it closes tightly while remaining easy to open. This is a beautiful little item, and I cannot wait to tuck it into my mother's stocking. I must admit I'm surprised at the quality of this little company. Heavier than expected (which is nice). The design is crisp and the embossing stands out. The mirror is large enough to assist with makeup application yet small enough to still tuck into a pocket or purse. The clasp spring works nicely and easily keeps the compact closed.
