Really like this belt. Was a not as large in its widest point (only 3” - see pic) as I would have hoped but still looks nice. Would really need to be 6” at its widest point to be a true Obi belt. Each of the ties are 38” in length (pic) seams on the ties are well glued but not stitched, would need to be 76” in length to do a double wrap in this size. The brown color version is made of genuine leather (pic) and the hand of the leather is very nice, soft and supple as you would expect. Over All: good buy, good value, high quality. Read more

Beautiful brown belt and is quality leather, soft but not too thin. It is sized accurately. The red is more of an orange-ish apricot color which I returned with no issues. It wasn't in a box like the brown, so it had been returned previously. Read more

I read though all the reviews for purchasing this belt. YES this is REAL leather! I’m a leather fan I know what to look for. It has a beautiful leather smell as well. Some people also mentioned the strings were shorter than the belt, NOT AT ALL. They are long and as you can see in the photos the straps wrap around the belt just fine. I was surprised how nice this belt was since I’ve been sketched ordering genuine leather off Amazon but I’m so surprised! I’ve purchased two of these. Size is perfect, definitely recommend using the size waist guide for reference to your size. I’m 5,6 and 151lbs. Waist about 33 inches. I got the L-XL All my weight falls in my tummy and it fits perfect on me! Wearing it for a renaissance faire! And people also mentioned it dents or creases…duh! You didn’t order steel, you ordered a leather belt and that’s going to happen. Shipping was fantastic too. Very good price as well. I suggest putting leather conditioner on it to keep it soft since leather naturally can become dry. Also my straps do not come undone. I tie a good strong bow and it lasts. Read more

I purchased this belt beginning of March. It looked great in the photos. I loved the style, the red color and I thought the price was excellent for a genuine Italian leather belt. When the belt arrived, I found out that it wasn’t leather. It is very deceiving to sell this product as genuine leather. It is a fashionable 100% man-made material and its price should no be more than $9.99. Read more
