I bought this extractor set to get one screw out that had a stripped head. I was pleasantly surprised with the durability and various sizes included in the kit. The cutting portion of the bit is very sharp, and once you need to extract the screw, the extract for portion is perfectly suited. I don’t think you can beat the quality in value for the low cost. This tool has a drill bit at one end and an extractor at the other end. Very convenient plus it comes in 6 different sizes. Unfortunately, the drill bit end didn't drill the rusted screw head. The #1 tool looked like the drill bit was exactly the size I needed so I used a high-quality bit instead and drilled it for extraction. I found the extraction end too large for the drilled hole. A total bust especially for smaller screws such as a 4-40, 6-32 etc. Read more
Got this as a stocking stuffer for my husband. He loved it so much he took it to work with him to keep in his tool box. It’s very good quality, and they do exactly what they say they do. My truck antenna snapped off in the car wash and part of it needed to be extracted. With no experience doing this I ordered this set and got to work. The design of this kit is so easy to use, the enclosed instructions were easy to apply. As shown each piece in the kit is reversible and perfectly sized for the job. It proved easy to remove the broken piece of antenna, the extractor was so simple to use. The broken piece came right out and I installed the new antenna in minutes.
