Wife loves this stuff. She's a seamstress, so she ends up ironing a lot of fabric every day, and her iron gets gunked up often. She has a stainless steel sole plate iron, and this stuff is really amazing. You just heat up your iron, squeeze out an inch or so of this stuff onto an old towel, and iron it. Love this product! Only reason why I didn't give it five was bc it comes in small tiny tubes! To me this is a waste of money with the tubes running out so quickly and u have the small tube with the product in it. I cut it open then and use a Qtip to get at least two more cleanings for my iron. So its just a pain that u have to go thru..that if I had a larger tube... it would last longer. BUT... I will say it gets my iron cleaned extremely well! And I use it for my large company press! Its amazing product really! Read more

I sew a lot of garments each year, and some of them require fusible interfacing. This stuff can get on your iron quite easily, and once it's on there, it is almost impossible to get off. Enter FAULTLESS Hot Iron Cleaner. I have used this three times now, and am very impressed with its performance. Make sure you iron is hot and that you have an old scrap of cotton terry cloth. Follow the instructions, and - if you're like me - you'll get a very clean, shiny face plate on your iron. Yes, there are a bit of fumes, but honestly, they don't bother me. This stuff works great! Excellent value for the money. I accidently ironed over a piece of tape and it melted on to the bottom of my very expensive Rowenta iron. Other iron cleaners appear too abrasive. With this one you just heat up the iron, put a line of the Faultless on a wash cloth, iron over the product and "boom" it sparkles.
