For the money, this is a knockout product. It's fairly sturdy, it looks nice, and the functionality is great! My roommate and I have been looking for a coffee table for a while and we are definitely satisfied with our choice! One issue I have with this is that building it was a huge hassle. The directions were not very clear, and the figures were very small regarding the pieces and how the screws were intended to fit together. Also, it isn't technically required to use a power tool to build this but if you don't have a drill, be prepared to get a SERIOUS arm/forearm workout as you will be screwing screws into the wood. The holes are started for you but they are not pre-cut, you will have to drive the screws into un-penetrated wood. Also, the angles at which you need to do this are a but ridiculous. It's possible but VERY BLOODY DIFFICULT. Also, the tool that they provide for this is almost a joke. Like a serious "HAHAHAHA" joke. You would need hurculean strength to construct this coffee table using that little thing. Word to the wise, use a drill, even if it is a cheap one, it will be super helpful. The media could not be loaded. I got this coffee table for my couch at a very understandable price, it's nice and stable, even when you open the top it's solid. It isn't loose, it sits nicely in place. I use it to the point of eating on it when the top is up higher for date nights with my husband watching TV its so stable i even put candles on it out of trust (dont leave them unoccupied though because i have animals). Inside I have all my craft things and I keep my envelopes in there for writing letters, I just moved to a new town where I got married last week and they don't really have any stores but a couple family owned food ones, so I practically ordered every house appliance on Amazon. It's a 2 hour drive to the nearest Walmart and I JUST got a new car, this little table is perfect for food, computers, and storing things you need to. It's very cute too. I had a heck of a time with these instructions. The top table and metal pieces should’ve come attached already, but they didn’t. This shouldn’t been a two person job because wow was I sweating trying to complete the top alone. The table is gorgeous and perfectly sized for smaller living rooms, but the manufacturing was also terrible. What it came to the top, the premade screw-holes weren’t aligned at all. Tried my best to go with the holes made for it, but that led to a giant overlap on one side of the table so it doesn’t rest nicely. It’s also a little fidgety to lift the table, not as smooth as I’ve seen other tables but it’s fine. I’m not unsatisfied with the table, but I wish the screw holes had been lined better. I’ll have to fix it sometime in the future and guess how far to adjust the screws. Takes about 16 just for the top and you can’t use a screw gun bc the angles won’t allow it to fit. But like I said, nice table, just needs to be more carefully manufactured. Read more

Could have better hardware. Half of the plastic locking clips don't lock and line up correctly. If you use the smallest amount of force when screwing they will break off. I broke like 3, luckily this product comes with spares. It doesn't hold. Once you put the main long metal screws in it becomes more solid. Next when installing the top part that raises up 2 of the pre tapped holes in the wood ended up getting stripped out when using the provided self drilling screws. I had given this a 4 star at first because of how wonky it felt and difficult to set up but after having it for almost 3 years and despite all the dragging and using ive done with the table, its still holding strong!
