I used this in 25F for four (4) nights. It kept me warm overall. It did have a few cold spots I couldn't get rid of. The materials weren't scratchy or sticky for me and felt good quality. The zippers are good quality and didn't have any catching on the baffles. The zippered footbox/pull close kept my feet warm. Overall: recommend this product for new backpackers. Read more
This is a high quality, very warm, and very light quilt. Paired with a high quality pad, it makes for a comfortable night in cool fall temps! I bought the regular size first, but then upgraded to this longer and wider one. I highly recommend it. Read more
This is top of the line for warmth while camping or packing. It is lighter than synthetic or poly and can be stuffed anywhere Read more
Warmth: Used this quilt for the first time with temps in the 40s and extremely damp outside and I was toasty. Loft was great and there were no cold spots. Pad: I used it with an REI Helix Long/Wide pad and the large quilt and straps sealed very well around the pad on the sides and there was no draft. Fit: I am 6 ft tall and over 200 pounds and bought the large. It was plenty big enough and I think I may have been ok with the smaller size. The draft collar at the top does a great job of cinching around my shoulders and to the side of the pad. The drawstring is located in the middle of the top of the quilt which is a bit odd but it does make it easy to cinch. I didn't have an issue with the small hole at the bottom as it cinched up very well. PROBLEM: Straps: The included straps work well but they are not robust. On my third night using the quilt, the one buckle broke. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the strap buckle quality. It's not a difficult fix in the field and may see if I could figure out a better permanent solution. Overall I would highly recommend this quilt especially for the price and insulation performance. I've used this on a back country motorcycle trip, (mostly offroad), and I'm never going back to a sleeping bag. Much more versatile. Sleeping bags always make me feel claustrophobic, and this felt so much better. Temps got down in the 40F range and it was plenty warm. Well made too. Read more
This 850 fill power down sleeping quilt has quickly become a staple in my camping and backpacking kit. As someone who is 6’ tall and 150 lbs, I opted for the regular size, and it fits me well. I’ve used this quilt on multiple trips, and it has consistently kept me comfy and warm, without making me feel constricted. Compact and Lightweight: This quilt is incredibly compact and lightweight, making it ideal for backpacking. It fluffs up quickly after being compressed, and the included stuff sack is small yet easy to use, ensuring I can pack it down without any hassle. Versatility: The quilt can lay flat, and I appreciate the two elastic straps that secure it to my sleeping pad, preventing it from slipping around during the night. You can also keep it clipped semi-closed, and the foot section zips up to create a foot pouch, which is great for avoiding drafts. The cinch at the top allows me to tighten it around my shoulders for added warmth, though it doesn’t have a hood. I suspect shorter folks could shimmy down inside and make an improvised cinched hood. This design is excellent for people like me who tend to move around or stick a leg or arm out while sleeping—it stays in place much better than other quilts I’ve tried. Warmth: The temperature rating of 36° with a lower limit of 26° is accurate in my experience. I bring a thin liner if I expect temperatures to drop below freezing, but this quilt has kept me warm in most conditions. The DownTek treatment means that it will maintain its insulating properties even if it gets damp. I am not a fan of hypothermia so was super happy to see this. Supplemental Use: This quilt will also be part of my gear for colder trips, serving as supplemental warmth over my 20° or even 0° sleeping bag when temperatures plummet. Overall, this quilt is an excellent alternative to a traditional sleeping bag, offering a lightweight, compact, and versatile option for thrashy sleepers or those who don’t like to feel constricted. It’s become a key part of my gear, and I highly recommend it for those looking for a reliable and flexible sleeping solution. I think it’s a very good value for the price, too. If you have had a down quilt before, you know the sticker shock can be real, and at $229 for the regular size at the time of this writing, I think this is a good deal. Read more

This is a lightweight blanket style sleeping bag alternative. It is snugly and feels good against your skin. But, I ordered the Long/Wide bag and it is only long, it is not wide. I do not understand why any product like this would need to be 90" long. No one is that tall. Its just a bunch of wasted space for the vast majority of people. There are, however, plenty of people that could use a wider bag to fit around them. My husband is a larger guy -not enormous but wide across the shoulders and back and this was too small for him. He couldn't wrap it around himself without large gaping spaces. It is just a very strange product. It has partial zippers, drawstring closures and clips yet you can't actually close it up. And for the astronomical price I definitely do not see the value here. Read more
