These are great for traveling during extended periods (at in-law's for two weeks) but also for home. I'm working on increasingly building up my strength and I have 20 to 25 lbs. dumbells for the 5 lb gap is now fulfilled by these that are 22.5 each, plus they can be put together as a barbell.
