Worth extra cost. True 3000K color temperature. Now my dimmer works well with a string of LED bulbs.

Why because, without the added resistance, my string of LED lights would show erratic dimmer performance. I chose this FEIT Xenon bulb because true xenon has a slightly whiter color (3000K) which closely matches the reported 3000K color temperature of my LED string. Common halogen bulbs are 2700K which appear much warmer than my LED string and the difference is quite noticeable. I've tried other bulbs called "xenon" and they are clearly NOT real xenon. Yes, the FEIT brand bubs are true xenon and are more expensive but if you want 3000K the FEIT bubs actually deliver. Read more
