It is beautiful! The sound is beautiful also. It is very nice quality. I did a lot of online research with people who did reviews of ukuleles. This one scored well. I listened to online videos of people playing this one and I really liked the sound. The one we received is living up to the good reviews. I do not play musical instruments so I cannot give a musicians review exactly. The person who received this as a gift was particularly impressed with the inlay around the edges on the front of the ukulele. He is enjoying learning how to play it. He was very impressed with it. It came with two cases, both seem to be very high quality. The whole set is fantastic. I would highly recommend to others. Read more

I love my Fender Zuma Concert Ukulele. I had a soprano ukulele as my first instrument. I enjoy playing it, but I love my Fender. The tone, quality construction, and feel are all I could have hoped for. The concert Zuma is much more resonant and rich-sounding than my soprano ukulele. I am often surprised this is true with an instrument about the same size as the soprano. Every song I play on the Zuma sounds so much better. I have a Fender Dreadnought FA-125 guitar, which I Iove dearly. The Zuma is a nice compliment. It took me a long time to decide which concert-sized ukulele to buy. I have not regretted my choice. I thought the slightly larger tenor Uke would be good for use with a low G string and it is. There is a nice resonance when playing. The Uke looks as nice as it did in the picture and it comes with a hardsided case that ensured the Uke shipped with no issues and will protect it when carrying it around. It also came with a nice tuner. On the downside I've had trouble keeping it in tune for the week I've owned it. I'm not sure if it's the Uke (tuning pegs) or the type of strings. I have a much cheaper Luna concert Uke and the strings hold their tune much better. I'll give it a few more weeks, then I'll replace the strings to see if they work better. Also, it is taking me a while to get used to playing the chords. I can play bar chords much better with my Luna. It's probably my lack of talent, but other beginner to intermediate players may have a similar issue. Read more

Ive never played an instrument before and decided to put this on my "bucket list". I know people who play guitar and Ive heard the name Fender bandied about. Thought Id try my hand at this particular item that kinda looks like a small electric guitar. Kit came with a small self explanatory tuner, and carrying bag. I thought I was to get a CD to teach me but it turns out when I contacted the company (KALA) I would have access to an ap that i could access free for 1 week. I did not cancel this after the free week and instead got billed for a yearly subscription to the tune of $65. While I was uphappy that I didnt cancel in time it turns out this ap is REALLY COOL to learn to . I can replay the lessons and even try my hand at playing along with actual songs. Very Happy with purchase so far. Read more

didn’t include the CD as advertised and one of the nylon strings was replaced with a wound guitar string, this may have actually been a repackage return that wasn’t re-checked Read more

Broken string immediately upon tuning, wood flakes and splinters all around sound hole and dirt and grime all over the instrument. Fender quality control must really suck for this to have made it out of production. Don’t buy this. Read more
