Definitely glad I gave this a shot. I read all the reviews and hoped I wouldn’t receive it damaged or damage it while putting it together. I checked all sides every step of the way and didn’t over tighten anything too much and it’s perfectly together with no issues or missing parts. Still working on my desk set up but this is a great addition! This is also pretty heavy, feels very sturdy. Added some clear rubber feet to help not slide on my smooth desk for some grip. Read more

The color says black, but it is a dark grey color. Had I know e this information I would have no ordered this. I’ve ordered from this brand which is excellent quality but expected black as it goes with my decor. Unfortunately I’ll have to return. Packing is good. Instructions are clear. I really like the looks of this - I just wish the instructions had been a little clearer for attaching the wood shelves to the acrylic legs. It was only after I was almost done that I realized how they were meant to go together - you are supposed to attach the top shelf first by putting the Allen wrench THROUGH the lowed shelf hole to screw the board into place and THEN you are supposed to screw the lower shelf on. I was trying to attach the top shelf to the acrylic legs AFTER the lower shelf was already attached and there was no room to properly turn to Allen wrench so it took much longer than it should have. The instructions are in pictograph form and the arrows were not always clear - and as someone who has put together a lot of furniture and shelving and usually has no problems, this was kind of a problem. Until that point, everything was going together very easily. But once it is all together, it looks amazing and it can easily hold two monitors, though I only have one on mine for now , and there is a space to slide the keyboard and mouse beneath to keep the desk clean. You can see from my photo that this is not black- the mat on my desk is a true black and this stand is much lighter in color. That doesn't bother me, but some people will likely be put off by the incorrect description. I found the instructions reasonably easy to follow. As someone else pointed out, there is one part where you have to place the screwdriver through the top part to get to the bottom part and, althought there was a drawing to indicate this in the instructions, it was not immediately clear of what to do. Step 7 in the given instructions indicate to put a screw through one of the boards into the clear stand piece. But the screw itself is longer than the board so if you screw it in all the way, you end up piercing the board to the other side and breaking it. One of my boards also arrived with a chip. The stand would look great visually but these instructions ruined it and I hate it now. Read more
