Like every calming chew invented, this doesn't make much of a difference. Maybe it helps a little. My dog is a nervous wreck much of the time. I use medication for him when it's very bad, like when my neighbors are using fireworks, and these chews don't do much if anything. They are probably as good as anything else I've tried. What works better is hemp oil for dogs (and his medications) but of course that's a bit expensive. Edited to add: the company gave me a refund.
