Whoever came up with this idea and product design deserves some kudus. These are great for someone like me who needs to ease my way back into shape after injury. I love the colors, the texture of the coating on the weights, the feel of them in my hand, just the right thickness. And the interchangeable weights are easy to configure. Pros: Bright orange color. Durable, attractive & solid construction. No rattle. Quick and easy switching between 2, 3, & 4 lb dumbbells. Cons: Much more difficult and slower switching from 4 to 5 lb. or from 5 to 4 lb., as end caps take considerably more force to add & remove. So far, repeated use has not reduced the twist on/off resistance. Considered purchasing 4 additional 0.5 lb weight parts to replace the end caps, but those are not available for purchase. Read more

Overall great concept and well made. I like the octagon shape so, it doesn’t roll off a surface. I purchased so I could use during a Work out video that requires different weights ranging 1-3lbs. I wasn’t able to change weights quickly and keep up with the workout. This would be great for a slower paced workout! Read more
