Instructions were not all that great but then again its not rocket science. I was able to match the color fairly close and the resin bonded well to a vinal bathtub time will tell for longevity purposes. I will update in the future if it fails . Read more

I used this fiberglass repair kit to fix small dings, scratches, and discoloration in an older white bathtub, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and approachable the process turned out to be. At first glance, the kit looks intimidating, but it’s really not. You simply poke a hole in the pigment tube with a toothpick, mix parts A and B in the provided black mixing cup using the wooden stir stick, and then apply the mixture directly with the stick for smaller repairs. For larger surface issues or cracks, I would recommend using a flat spatula or putty knife (as suggested in the instructions) for smoother application. A couple of helpful notes based on my experience: The more pigment you add, the thinner the mixture becomes. Since I added quite a bit of color to match the tub, I adjusted the ratio to about 1.5:1 hardener to resin to keep the consistency workable. The hardener does have a strong, chemical smell, so be cautious if you’re sensitive to fumes; definitely ventilate your space well or wear a mask. The kit includes 8 pigments, and the white base worked well for my project, but it's nice having flexibility for matching other surfaces too. Dry time is listed as 24 hours, but in my case (in a humid bathroom), I waited closer to 48 hours before sanding to be safe. Once cured and sanded, the surface was smooth, glossy, and waterproof, a noticeable improvement. ✅ Pros: Surprisingly easy to use, even for first-timers Covers chips, dings, and discoloration effectively Includes color pigments for matching various surfaces Finished surface looks clean and holds up well to water Good for fiberglass, porcelain, acrylic, tile, etc. ❌ Cons: Strong smell from the hardener, ventilation is a must Takes longer to cure than stated in some environments Color affects consistency; adjust the ratio accordingly Sanding takes time if you want a flush finish Final Thoughts: If you’ve got minor cosmetic issues like chips, dings, or surface discoloration, this repair kit is a budget-friendly and beginner-friendly option. Just take your time, work in a well-ventilated area, and give the repair enough time to cure before sanding. For cracks or more serious damage, use a wider tool for better results. Read more

I just received this Hupeyna Fiberglass Repair Kit, so I haven’t had the opportunity actually to use it yet. That said, I’m already impressed with what comes in the package and the instructions provided. The kit feels complete, the containers are a good size (not the tiny sample packs you sometimes get), and the color options are a nice touch for blending repairs. Based on the product details and the quality of what I see so far, I’m confident this will be an excellent solution for small chips, cracks, and scratches around the bathroom and kitchen. I especially like that it’s waterproof and heat-resistant; that’s a must for tubs and sinks. Once I’ve had a chance to put it to work, I’ll update my review with results, but so far, it looks like a solid, professional repair kit at a good value. Read more

I had a couple small chunks taken out of my boat when it was removed for the winter. This filled the missing gelcoat perfectly. I just hope the longevity holds up. Just be warned, it hardens pretty quickly so do not make your batch too big Read more

The dial vials were all sealed - not sure if to was dried out or not. Must pierce the top of the nipple to allow dye to come out. First vial I simply squeezed and top flew off - dye all over. But, kit worked. To color match, I mixed dye into separate amounts of epoxy and hardened- giving tome to play around with color. Read more

Everything needed in kit. Had no trouble filling in the pits...easier than expected. The only problem I had, was unable to add color to my mixture due to not being able to open the bottle. Next time I will make sure the color bottle is open before mixing tubes A & B. Will apply bath decals over the repaired pits to hide the white . Read more

Unfortunately I’ve had too much expectations for this product, I was a little excited but followed all application instructions which was tricky, the color never matched my tub, and after a month there was cracks all over it, I’m very frustrated because the amount of product could barely cover a single use application, making it super hard and ineffective. Super thin, gets stained easily and takes minimum of 12 hours to dry Read more

The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant at first because I was worried about matching colors and prepping the sink area, but this kit turned out to be much easier to use than I anticipated. I followed the directions to mix equal parts resin and hardener (which gives a porcelain white), and to my surprise, the color was very close to my existing shower—even after more than a decade of use. It immediately fixed the corner cracks and even covered a circle-shaped crack on the textured floor pretty well. I plan to do another layer to blend it perfectly, but even now it looks good enough that you wouldn’t notice unless you were looking for it. The beauty of this kit is that you can sand and reapply as needed until it’s flawless. What I really appreciate is that it comes with everything you need: resin, hardener, applicator tools, and sandpaper. this is an incredible value compared to the cost of replacing or repairing a sink or shower. I didnt find it easy to work with. You have to try to use as little as possible and sand and add a little more if needed and sand because it is very difficult to sand , it gets hard fast thats one thing i can tell you. This repair if not too big it will last along time. For larger repairs, hiding the edges can be tricky, but with patience and finishing, it’s absolutely doable. For anyone new to this type of repair, I’d suggest practicing on a small chip or less noticeable spot first to get the hang of it. Overall, this kit saved me from a cracked sink and an unnecessary replacement. Highly recommended for DIYers of all skill levels. Read more
