If you have a small item needing repair, this kit has all the components needed for a fiberglass repair. I have a 25 year old car who's windshield washer reservoir had broken from old age. The plastic was brittle from age and heat. Replacements are not available anymore, too old i guess. I used this kit to close up the holes. The fiberglass is stronger than the original plastic! The kit is great ,comes with everything you need. You can’t ask for more. I do have one complaint the squeegee that comes with it cracked right in half. Thought I had a rubber squeegee laying around, but no go. Really is all you need is enough small throwaway paintbrush’s and you’ll be good to go. Not supplied. But all in all, it worked great for the old John Deere 110 round fender hood. I highly recommend for small jobs It comes with enough, fiberglass fiber to do more than what the bottle gives you. Worked great to repair a pin hole defect in the bottom of our new fiberglass tub. After installation, a defect in the fiberglass tub showed up and had a very slow drip. Fortunately, this was caught before everything was closed up. I started with three pieces of fiberglass, layering one at a time starting with the first piece (about the size of a quarter), using a small craft paint brush to work in the prepared resin, then a middle layer, again painting it in and finally the last piece (about the size of a silver dollar), again working in the resin and smoothing out the edges with the paint brush. Don't overwork it or you may pull fibers out of the cloth. Whole repair took about 15 minutes and has held perfectly for about a month now. No leaks! Read more
