That said, VERY satified with both performannce, and ergonomic convenience on my desk (I taped a paper flap over the ports, to prevent usb ports filling with... "stuff"... tip for the marketing folks?) Furthermore, I greatly appreciate their customer support (the issue was with another manufacturers' product) p.s. This hub was perfect for expanding the available ports on my work Mac. What i love is that i can leave it setting on my desk and it gives me 4 USB-A ports and 3 USB-C ports with easy access. It is black with chrome making it look sleek and classy and blends in nicely with my black desk. The ports share a 10gbs USB-3 port so things can run at full speed but if i use multiple ports the bandwidth would be split. Not a problem but something worth noting. Read more

I cannot recommend this product. It started malfunctioning after 3 months of use. I bought this in Nov 2025. It would disconnect and reconnect over and over, and Windows will show me an error message telling me that the device is malfunctioning. Worked great when it worked but stay away from this one. Beware: This product will not charge with Apple's MagSafe wireless charger puck, which connects via USB-C and requires a USB PD-compatible adapter. MagSafe needs PD to negotiate up to 9V/2.22A (20W input) for full 15W wireless output. This hub only outputs 5V (no PD negotiation), so the MagSafe puck will either not charge at all or default to a very slow rate (e.g., 5-7.5W or less), as it detects insufficient power. Tests with non-PD sources confirm this: MagSafe often fails to activate properly without PD. Read more
