High Quality, Which To Choose?

The product is high quality. The Green (medium strength) is not enough for a serious swimmer/workout aficionado. I am a masters swimmer and weightlifter. Unless I do about a gazillion reps, the Green simply does not produce enough resistance. So I just ordered the Red. Hopefully that will provide the resistance I'm looking for. However, the product itself is top quality, and it already has the loop at the end so you can hook it onto something very easily. I will still use the Green, but only after I've stressed my arm muscles with the Red and other workout regimens. Update: I received the Red Many thanks to the Triathlete Store, they shipped immediately, so that I got the package very quickly. The Red is very strong indeed. Too strong for most people, I believe. So I will use both the Red and the Green. I don't believe you can get a complete workout without both of them if you're a relatively strong swimmer. The Red is to build strength and power; the Green to turn that strength and power into endurance. Read more

Quality exercise tubing for swim training or triathlon warmup.

I really like these for an indoor swim workout. Just lie prone on a large Fitball and attach the strap to the outside of a door. Five hard sets later of swim strokes and you'll be sweating. Great for standing rows too. The medium are actually pretty tough for full extension reps. Get the easier color for longer workouts. Read more

Vital for swimmers

Bought the red cords. These cords are a great way to strengthen many of the tiny connector muscles, ligaments and tendons in the arms, shoulders and upper back that can become overused or overlooked while training in the pool. An increase in strength leads to increased swimming speed. I do three sets of 50 three times a week. Fantastic training tool! Read more

Excellent teaching device for Age Group Swimmers, and very high quality.

I am a swimming coach and I have my 11-12 year old age group swimmers use the yellow-light level stretch cords 3 to 5 times a week for up to a half hour -- not continuously but over the course of a 90 minute workout. We use them primarily for rhythm, coordination, and technique rather than "resistance training." They are absolutely dependable and I have never had one break. The oldest set I have is 3 years old. Please note that they are they are a bit too resistant for many younger age group swimmers, aged 10 and under. Read more

★★★☆☆

Stretch cordz.

I love the resistance and the feel of the handles. However we use them in the swimming pool for dry land and attach them onto a metal railing. If the handle slips out of an athlete’s hand and hits the railing they break. Read more
