I’ve been slowly building out my starter kit as I get into cutting hair, and these FINITEX 5-mil black nitrile gloves have actually been one of the most useful things I added. I didn’t realize how much of a difference a good pair of gloves makes until I used them for a few full cuts. The first thing I noticed is that they really do stop hair splinters. If you’ve ever had those tiny needle-like hairs get into your fingers, you know how annoying they are, and these gloves blocked them completely during clipper work and clean-ups. Comfort-wise, they held up better than I expected. They don’t feel thin or cheap — the material has enough stretch to move with your hands without that tight, restrictive feeling some disposable gloves have. I was able to hold clippers, combs, and shears without slipping or losing control. After a while, though, I realized I need to size up because the fingers felt just slightly snug when doing detail work. Not a dealbreaker, but I’ll grab a bigger size next time for more freedom of movement. Durability was solid. I didn’t have any tearing, even when stretching them to adjust the fit or when switching between tools. They also didn’t get sweaty or sticky inside, which is something I’ve had issues with in cheaper gloves. I went through a full session and never felt like I needed to swap them out. For anyone starting their barbering journey, these are actually a great, low-cost way to make your setup feel more professional. They protect your hands, keep everything cleaner, and give you a better grip when you’re learning technique. I wasn’t expecting disposable gloves to become a “must-have,” but after using these, I get why barbers rely on them. I’ll definitely reorder — just in the next size up. Read more

Great, sturdy and strong gloves. Easy to put on. They were nice and snug which is what I wanted for a good grip. Completely waterproof and can be used for a variety of things. I used them for cutting meats and medical stuff. Read more

I brought these at least 8 times. I have small hands and these fit me great. A little loose around my wrist area, but I have tiny wrist too. I use them for cooking the majority of the time and cleaning as well. Color is accurate and they work as intended. Rarely have an issue with breakage. Will keep buying. Read more

These are great disposable gloves. Good for many purposes. Good for food prep, painting, cleaning. The fit is good. I buy them one size up so they can easily be removed by pulling the fingers with messy jobs such as painting. They are true to size, easily stretch, and very durable. I have bought these many times. Its hard to find meal prep gloves around our area. I like the quality, but gloves are too small. I normally wear that size too, but just too small than I would like. I will still use up the box so it doesn't go to waste. Read more

TL;DR As far as disposable gloves go, Finitex hit the bullseye for me; they are well-fitting and surprisingly durable despite maintaining average thickness, making them highly suitable for most use cases and tasks, and are on offer at a generously reasonable price to boot. I was adding a new box to my cart and saw that this would be my sixth time buying a box of these. I think that merits a quick review. These things have earned their high review scores for sure. Fit is true to size. I don't see anyone having issues for fit if they're basing the decision on the standard size they would typically wear for most disposable gloves in the US. Regardless, if you're in doubt, measure it out. If you're still unsure after measuring, just get the size up, as opposed to risking a size too small. Personally, when it comes to judging the quality of disposable gloves, I HEAVILY favor durability. These gloves, despite their thickness being about industry average (you'd expect this thickness from disposables in a quality tattoo studio or doctors office), manage to snipe the bullseye on durability. This is really nice, because the average thickness means they wont impede or reduce your ability to do accurate or fine detail work, yet they also manage to get through most tasks you could ask for without the constant worry of a mid-task rip requiring a re-glove. They hold up under stretch just fine as well, such as from gloving up. For task viability, I've used them for basically every task type around the house and beyond and they have truly stood the rest of time and repetition. I really mean it when I say for pretty much everything - food prep and cooking, household chores, cleaning (from mild to heavy duty, including cleaning cat litter boxes and scooping dog poop outside), bathing my fur kids (dogs and cats specifically), assembling furniture, maintenance and upkeep for appliances (did a super thorough cleaning out of my dishwasher innards and had zero rips), electronics work (primarily handling and assembling desktop PCs, with a sprinkle of game console and controller repair), doing Gunpla and scale models, handling and perusing books (I am big on keeping my more expensive collectors books nice and oil free for preservation purposes), home improvement projects (used them for my whole carpet removal project in my den), and just about everything in between. Shoot, I've even used them for two (admittedly light-duty) automotive tasks, first when replacing one of my tail light housings (because of the predatory practices of modern automotive companies which see fit to ensure I cannot simply replace the singular faulty bulb... But I digress!), and then again when I replaced the air filter after some rather crafty and brave squirrels temporarily nested in the old one when we didn't use the vehicle for 7 days. 😂 But what really brings it all together is that the price is just right. I was using Venom brand almost exclusively before I found these, and if you're familiar with those at all you'll know they command quite a price (though they certainly do so fairly). Well, I still keep a stock of Venom around and likely always will, but only for the particularly heavy duty tasks. These bad boys from Finitex, on the other hand, have replaced those for basically everything else due to the unquestionably favorable cost-to-quality ratio on offer. Read more
