The media could not be loaded. This product does exactly what I hoped it would. Before I bought it I was doing pull-ups on the i-beam directly. Not very comfortable, of course. So I wondered if a product like this existed. Sure enough, it exists. And it works very well. Installation was easy. The unit is rock solid and stable. The grip tape was a nice bonus. I use it several times a week. Highly recommended if you want to do pull-ups at home and have an exposed i-beam somewhere! Read more
I've had this pull up bar installed for just about 3 years now and it is still holding strong with no issues whatsoever. granted I'm only 150 pounds, so mine is not bearing a ton of weight on it, but its held in place perfectly. I did put some tourna grip on it to improve grip. I found the 'stock' grip to slip easily if you're hands are at all sweaty. Read more
The bar could stand to be longer and needs knurling its so smooth feels slick... The colored grip tape in the picture is not included so minus a star, other than that its a solid product. You guys should make a longer bar variation with knurling, wide grip pull ups are a must for your lats!!! Read more
A simple but sturdy and well engineered piece of equipment. It's the perfect solution for mounting underneath an outdoor steel deck (see photo). I didn't want to use a regular ceiling mounted pull-up bar and have to drill into the I-Beam, potentially compromising its structural integrity. I was concerned that the I-Beam pull-up bar would feel flimsy and unstable as I performed pull-ups and exercises with gymnastics rings, but in fact it is rock solid and feels like it is part of the I-Beam itself. It feels like it should last a lifetime. I almost never write reviews, but I felt I had to give credit to the company that produced it. It's rare to find such a high quality product these days, especially one made in the USA. Read more

I was hesitant at first to purchase this setup due to our I-Beam in our current basement clocking in at 3.25". After a few minutes of tightening and repositioning I managed to get all six bolts positioned and tightened safely. I was careful and kept the repetitions minimal the first couple of times on the bar, but over the last couple of days I have been going at it pretty hard. I have not tested weighted routines on this I-Beam due to its 3.25" rating, however, I know that this solid setup will definitely handle some abuse once I have access to a better beam. Definitely worth the purchase as long as you have access to an I-Beam. Read more
Easy to install, and rock solid once you use a socket wrench to tighten it up. Such a huge improvement to my basement gym! Also works great with bands so you can get assisted pull-ups in once you gas out. Read more
I was planning on building an iron pipe pull up bar and drilling into the ceiling joists when I found this smarter and sturdier solution. This thing is rock solid and looks sharp. Great addition to the workout room. Read more
