The repetition, and hand strength in winding the toy makes it good developmentally
Is an exact replica of the one my sister had in the 1960’s. The quality, style, detail design is exactly as I remember it. This is only the second time I have found a remake of a toy that was common 50 years ago that has maintained the quality of the originals. Wish that were more often true of toys that are “brought back”. I am surprised the babies still love this toy when they are now regularly exposed to electric moving screens of phones and current electronics. The song repetition is excellent for babies and toddlers. And learning to wind it is good motor strength and flexibility for small hands used to merely pushing buttons or touching screens.
