I have to say I was nervous about ordering this and wondered if it was a mistake to get but WOW. Seriously this thing is HUGE compared to what I thought it would be. If I take a photo it looks smaller than it really is. It folds up small like a rock and play, is lightweight so you can take it with you around the house or put in the car and take to relatives so baby has a place to lay down. I haven't used it yet since baby's still cooking but having had other children I can tell you this is so worth the value I paid. Best part unlike a play yard where if the baby soiled the cardboard fabric coated " mattress" this is a fully removable washable pad so accidents are nothing you have to worry about. I got this triangle pattern specifically bc babies love black, white, red contrasts and although it's orange not red I thought it's definitely close enough and I'm sure baby will love it. I do wish the two legs on the side we're removable so I could store this back in the box until baby's arrival but it seems once you snap those two legs into place the only thing you can do is fold or unfold the dome...which is fine for daily use or storing in a closet or up against the wall..I just was hoping to keep it back in the box for now but now it's too wide with the legs on to fit back in the box it came in. The On-The-Go Baby Dome is a wonderful product. It folds flat, fits in the back of my Nissan Rogue along with my stroller and allows for extra storage. It’s easy to assemble, open, and break down. My daughter was a large baby when she was born but still fits in the dome at 3 months. If we’re lucky we will get a couple more months of use out of it. The bedding part of the dome doesn’t touch the ground which is wonderful when outside. The screen is the perfect size to see in but keep bugs out. I was worried about ants entering through the screen at first but I think I may have seen only one ant the entire we time we’ve had it and that’s when i left the top open. We’ve taken our dome to the beach, on an overnight stay, and use it regularly outside at home. I really have zero complaints about the product. Luckily ours was in great shape when it arrived so we didn’t have to worry about returning it. As other reviewers have stated once you attach the legs you can’t take them off and the product doesn’t fit in the box anymore so examine the product before assembling. I will be sad when my baby outgrows this convienient little dome! I hope to find a larger equivalent to this that’s easy to transport and shelters baby while outside or on the go! Read more

I was so worried about the sun when having a May baby. This helped me to get out of the house and protect him from the sun. Super easy to fold down and bring In the car. My baby loves to be in it. He loves the rattles that it comes with. We even took them off and use them as toys when he’s not in the dome. I love that the sides are mesh to allow a nice breeze. High quality. I CAN NOT write enough good things about this baby dome. It’s super cute, the size is perfect for sitting outside, inside, and it folds up soooo easy to make it easy for traveling. The inside is big enough for a hoppy pillow plus my baby (he is 23in he’s long and still had tons of room). I purchased this as a gift. My friend loved it! By using this, she was able to multitask with her little ones. She moved it around the house, took it outside, and even packed it in the car. She could lay her infant down at anytime/anywhere using this bassinet. It is convenient and easy to clean. While we were traveling with baby this was a great sleep space for her. It’s possible to cover the canopy and make it totally dark even if you need the light on in the room. The mesh around the bottom lets in fresh air. This definitely comes with us if we are going to spend a day outside and it’s super portable. Some cons - The pad on the bottom is crinkly plastic so I covered it with a muslin cloth and tied it off at the bottom with a hair tie to make it more comfortable. The toys are nice and we have them on her play mat now but they are way too high for any baby to reach. Both halves of the top don’t fold down - one half is up permanently and has a metal bar. Great for beach days with my newborn. Easy to set up and the size is perfect. I think my baby could use it till about six months. It was a pretty windy day and it kept the sand out while my baby napped. She slept till we had to leave so I’d say she was comfortable. Definitely would recommend for beach parents. Read more
