Excellent, works just fine for a 10 gal. or an 8.75 gallon tank for a Betta, which I use it for, she loves it, keeps tank at 77-78, is quite small, but perfect for tank, takes very little room, am happy and would purchase another if needed. See how long it holds up and keeps working. Read more

The media could not be loaded. We live in central NC and we have our 55 gal in ground pond it’s only 12 inches deep and we have 5 fancy fan tail goldfish. I know they’re goldfish, but they aren’t koi and I didn’t want to take any chances letting them freeze this winter. We just had an ice storm and I have a plastic cover over it and I have it insulated so it stays warmer than the air but when the water got down to 47° I was worried so I put the heater in and have it set to 63°. It was 9° last night and the water stayed 63° the WHOLE time. So my fishies don’t have to suffer in the freezing water. We even have a frog that has stayed in there all winter too! We’ve had the heater on for the last few weeks and it keeps my babies comfortable we’ve had no issues with it other than the suction cups on the back sometimes don’t stick so it does fall to the bottom but it doesn’t seem to affect it if I leave it on the bottom. Worked fine for about 2 months, then flashed an "out of water" error code and stopped working despite being fully submerged. Used in a 3 gallon beta tank, which it was rated for, so it didnt burn up from b/c the tank was too big. Despite the instructions being in "chingkish" they weren't totally useless. Of course it stopped working right outside of the return window. My advice is to spend the money and get a better quality one Read more

I LOVE THIS HEATER! best i’ve ever used. so far. knock on wood lol I love everything about it.. like how it beeps if the water is too low. and mainly bc this one heater keeps my whole 1000g pond almost all by itself. I have two extra smaller 500s for when it’s really cold (for FL.. they’re tropical fish so I don’t want it below 70 at all.. 78 is the sweet spot) anyway this is very powerful and so far i’m very happy and definitely getting another for next year so I can’t ditch the little ones Read more
