The black item is a scorer, not a cutter
The new blade works really nicely and cuts more cleanly than my old blade. I did not understand the difference between the "1-pack" (which shows two orange units) and the "2-pack" (which shows one orange unit and one black unit). The prices were very similar, so I thought, "two is better than one, right?" so that's what I ordered. I did not realize that the black unit is a scorer. So instead of 2 blades, I received one blade and one scorer. So, if you're unfamiliar with replacement blades as I was, orange is a cutter and black is a scorer. Read more
Brand name is the way to go.
