I've read all over the place how it makes you loose weight. I haven't had it long enough to know. I've never heard how fun it is!!! I can't help smiling while exercising. This model is also very quiet. I have 4 cats and they hang out with me while I exercise unbothered, even my blind one. Definitely worth the price. It's comfortable and easy to use. Like so many others, we (42M and 39F) are finding ourselves on a fitness and weight loss journey. I've been seeing ads for the Infinity Hoop for months and have been very curious about the effectiveness of it, especially for those of us that can't keep a hula hoop going to save their life. While at times I lose the rhythm myself, I find that the reason I lose the groove is that the weighted ball starts going up on one side and down on the other. It is loud, but not obnoxiously so; I just either use while home alone or go into my room while the family is in the living room (yes, they can hear it but we have a small house). It is really easy to put together (and take apart) and has a handy storage bag to hold all the links you get to start taking off! While I haven't seen a marked weight lose yet (I'm at the part of the weight loss journey where I've kind of stalled on losing, all the easy weight is gone, now it's time for the hard slough), I do feel more toned and it is a very, while not easy easy, but simple way to move that will start helping you lose weight and tone muscles. I do recommend. I can't do something just for workouts sake, it has to be enjoyable and this is something I can do while scrolling my phone, watching TV or reading. The fit is also very easy with links that are about and inch long; you want the hoop to fit snugly against you to help with the flow of motion so literally once your body starts losing inches, so does the hoop. I really wanted to love the Fit Hoop Weighted Waist Circle, but honestly, the biggest workout was trying to put the thing together. Assembly felt like solving an escape room puzzle, and once I finally got it built, I had no idea how to actually make it swing around my waist. Maybe it’s user error, but even disassembling it for storage was a struggle—I’m still finding little links in random places.It’s possible this hoop is just too advanced for my coordination level, but I spent more time wrestling with it than actually exercising. Storing it was another adventure since it doesn’t fit anywhere unless you take it apart (which, again, is harder than it should be). The Fit Hoop Weighted Waist Circle/Infinity Hoop is a fun way to try to burn calories, at least in theory. I was expecting to have to work at moving the weight around the hoop, but I have had a hard time getting any momentum going. It's been really difficult to get the weight to do a full circle around. Part of the problem is that my waist is not a circle, so the front of the hoop and the back of the hoop are constantly moving up or down, making it harder for the weight to slide around. On the plus side, it is easy to adjust the size with the included links, and the pink color is cheery. I'm not giving up, because I really want to believe in this product. But, at $30.99 (at time of review), it's a pricey risk for a questionable payoff. Read more
This weighted infinity hoop is so fun. I didn’t believe people who said it was enjoyable until I got the hang of it. I thought only water stuff like swimming or kayaking was fun exercise for me. I had to watch a YouTube tutorial to figure out the right motion because I was doing it wrong at first. Once I got it, time flies. I’ll hoop while watching YouTubers or listening to podcasts, and my heart rate gets up. My stomach and back feel better from the core work and movement. I’ve used it consistently for weeks now. The price is good, and it looks well-made compared to cheaper ones. I’m even planning to get ones for my parents so we can all try it together and get in better shape. If you’re like me and struggle to find enjoyable exercise, especially if you’re self-conscious about working out in public, this is great for home in private.
