During my shoulder rehab, I am using this conected to resistance bands anchored to the wall and cieling. It's made very well and it is very sturdy for a three piece design. I feel that this bar would compliment any home gym. Read more

Im a woman over 50 and anyone in the same place knows what starts happening to your body. Ive also been disabled for many years due to an injury but still able to do workouts to a small degree. Over the years it seems the more I worked out, the more I was able to do more things making me less disabled and the stronger I felt. But honestly, when you’re working at home all day every day and getting to the gym is like a distant dream, there seems to be only one answer . . . build a home gym! Now unlike many people, my home is 600sf so it takes a lot of creative thought to make it a really good gym. I can tell you I now have all kinds of equipment but one of the items I didn’t have and really wanted was a pull down bar. You’d be surprised at how much difference having strong shoulders, triceps and back muscles make when doing your daily life. For me it was major as I used to have really strong shoulder muscles but they’ve disappeared. I always believe in muscle memory and if you’ve had muscle before and workout hard, you can regain some or all of that muscle. Because my home is small, I’ve had to become creative with my space. I dont have room for a full lat pull down machine but what I do have is a Pullup bar across my bathroom door frame. This bar currently allows for me to hang (use own body weight), use straps to do abdominal work, get help with pull ups assistance straps and now, do my lat, bicep, tricep and back work! I’ve attached the Fitarc Lat pull down bar (that doubles as a tricep/bicep bar with a quick release of the two side bars) to the pulley straps on one of my weight balls. The bar is very light weight and changing the bar is very quick and easy. I know it sounds funky but in the end, what counts is does it work? Yes, it does : ) I sit on the floor to do my lat pull downs and can do the bicep and tricep work standing in the doorway. It works great. In my photos you will see the bar that goes across the top of my doorway frame. It’s super strong and really secure into the door frame. I can attach or detach the Lat Pull Down bar very easily as well as turn it into the tricep pull down bar just with a click of the side extension bar buttons. The Fitarc 40’’LAT Pull Down Bar, with a Full-Length Non-Slip Grip is really well made, feels very stable and comfortable during the movements. I can choose to go with either wide hands or bring them in close for a more narrow grip. I can wear gloves or not but either way, my hands don’t slip and slide. I am definitely thrilled to be able to do this so easily while keeping up with my routine whenever I choose, sometimes I work out at 11PM at night! As a woman over 50 and past menopause, my muscles declined fast. Using the doorframe to hang the Fitarc Lat Pull Down Bar, for me, was muscle saving!! I highly recommend the Fitarc Lat pull down bar and feel it was reasonably priced, making it good value for a great piece of equipment. It’s made of aluminum and is rust resistant so should last a long time. Happy training! Read more
Wanted a spare for my home gym so I didn't have to constantly move the one that came with my home gym. Use one as a pull down and one as a pull up for curls. Comfortable and strong enough for my gym. My gym doesn't get up to super heavy weight though(less than 200) but tesged on that and works great. Read more
I couldn't work out for over a year because of a dislocated shoulder. This January I gradually started doing some exercises & minor weightlifting to gage where I was physically. And afterwards I was so happy because I realized I'm fully healed. I knew this day would come so a few months ago I ordered a 40" Lat Pull Down Bar with Full Length Non-Slip Grip, Lat Pulldown Bar for a Pulley machine. Which is exactly what I have with a 410lb capacity. This Lat Bar is LEGIT. I've been using it every day gradually increasing weight & reps. It's super sturdy & what impresses me is that you can easily press on both ends and it goes from 40" bar to a 14.5". It's so amazingly convenient. I have a lat bar from my pulley machine that is so big & heavy. This bar is really light & being that it's interchangeable it's my go to lat bar for all my weight lifting exercises. I'm using the right supplements & the best lat bar to power my workouts. For me having the right equipment really motivates me. In only a few weeks I'm already bigger than I was last year. I'm really happy & impressed with the quality of this lat bar. As a former personal trainer in my younger days I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Read more
When working with weight the foam grips which are shabby not only they will turn soon but they are not gripping so they slip when working out. Read more
We've needed this type of bar in our apartment complex gym, and it's been a game changer. I bought it to use with a specific machine, and it fits perfectly. Setting it up is super quick with the push-button lock, and I love that it can break down into a shorter bar too. The full-length grip is really comfortable for different exercises, and it feels nice and sturdy. No worries about slipping. It's also pretty easy to take with you if needed. Overall, makes doing a variety of workouts much simpler now. Read more
