I got these two (2) main reasons other than the past good reviews. First, I have tendon issues and appreciate a little more flexibility with my grip options since I am now working out at home - rather than a gym with lots of different options. These are really easy to change while they are attached to a bar and are very sturdy in construction. The underside of the hook is a rubber-type material that makes it quieter and adds grip so that the handle doesn't slip during use. Secondly, I have a power rack at home that goes pretty much up to the ceiling. So, these handles give me the extra couple of inches I need to do a pull-up without hitting my head or stopping the rep short of full contraction. Read more

The grips are awesome. I have a very high pull up machine and the grips allowed me to use the bar and still get a chin up. Quality build and the angle adjustment works well. I would purchase them again if needed. The grip is a good size and material. They feel very sturdy and should last a long time. Read more

I do my pullups on my squat rack, and I find that doing chinups on a straight bar has become uncomfortable for my elbows. I got these because I wanted the option to be able to do semi-supinated chinups, and they work perfectly. The grips are comfortable and high quality, and they provide wrapping tape if you need a softer surface. The adjustment mechanism is effective and intuitive, and you can use them for both pull ups and barbell rows. Heck, they'd even probably be pretty good for carrying a lot of groceries in one trip. Very versatile overall. Only slight downside is that if you're hanging from a shorter bar or rack, you're now even closer to the ground. I'm fine if I pick my knees up, but weighted chins with my dip belt might be out of the question. Read more

Doesn’t hurt my shoulders to do pull-ups. I’m 64, so that had been limiting my back workout. Read more

Well-made, versatile hooks. I use them on a weight stack rowing machine that has handles in the horizontal position. I need a more vertical handle to allow the palms of my hands to face each other and allow my shoulders to be in a more neutral position. These handles work very well for that. The ability to alter the angle slightly in either direction is a great option. I also use them for straight bar pulldowns, again to give me a more neutral shoulder position. The hook portion of these handles is perfect to fit over the existing handles on the machines, or in the carabineers on the cables. Excellent addition to my gym equipment. Read more

These are great. Very sturdy and easy to use. I cannot do normal pull ups. For some reason it puts stress on my elbows. These handles allow me to tilt the angle inwards which takes the stress off my elbows. Yay! Read more
