Fit Beast is a good quality brand and reasonably priced. There are several sets availalbe on Amazon and this one has 3 parts. First the instructions. It is better than most, but need to read a few times to understand if this equipment is unfamiliar. The booklet covers all the included units and a few that are not. I actually prefer that as I have some of the not included devices from other brands, that this has better instruftions. The print is tiny, but that seems standard and a good reason to have hand held magnifiers if your eyes need help. (Even with glasses). There are several different exercises provided for the different devices, normal drip, reverse grip, upside down squeeze etc. I just wish they would explain the significance of the different techniques. If I understand why, it is easier to stay motivated. Again this brand is far better than others in that manner. "Finger Strengthener" This is the standard simple grip device with a a button each for 4 fingers, and the palm grip on the reverses. I do not find this unit particularly challenging and suppose it should be rated medium. Well built "Counting Hand Grip Strengthen" This has 2 features, a standard adjustable resistance dial listed as 10 to 160 lbs. (It adjusts the spring angle to adjust the resistance.) In the handle is a counter for each repetition which I like and have not seen in this type of unit before. The counter is not as well built as the rest of the gear, but I'm guessing it should last a couple of years. "Electronic Hand Dynamometer" This is a battery operated (2 AAA's included) grip strenth meaure and was pretty consistent and 3 attempts with each hand, yielded a consistent, less than 1lb difference in strength. For the price it is reasonably quality and make. I would be a little surprised if this unit was being used in a physician or PT office for medical grade evaluation. I could see an independent physical trainer using if for their clients. The instructions actually have a gender and age graph chart showing 'weak, normal, & strong' weight range for comparison. Overall a nice set. I bought this because I wanted to train my grip for Jujitsu and so far it has helped get strength up by about 10 pounds according to the included tester. However word of caution don't over do it on the tester or the gripper if you haven't done much grip training before you can really get sore in all sorts of weird places. Read more
