With a little help from my son, install was relatively easy. The hardest part was disconnecting the cable from where it was originally clipped. He managed to pry it loose, and then the rest was easy. Didn't have any problem with the cables getting in the way, maybe a hiccup getting it slid/locked into place, but it looked great. Connecting my phone would have been simpler had I read the instructions first. Disconnect your phone from the car before you attempt (turn off Android Auto, or whichever one you might use). Turning off Bluetooth doesn't seem to work, as instructed, since the car will turn it back on. At least it does with my phone, which is strange. The phone will not connect to the camera's wife if it's connected to your car. Just FYI. Also, the password is 1 through 8 when you connect. After that, the only time you need to access the app is to view/download any video. The camera will turn on when you start the car and shut off when you turn off the car. It's that simple. I love not having a cable hanging from my mirror and taking up space in my charger. Very happy with purchase! I have the 2025 Hyundai Tucson, and it fits like OEM. Also, mine came with two Y cables, I guess to make sure it fits all advertised car models. Only thing I haven't yet figured out is where the SD card is. I've read that it's accessible from outside the camera but haven't figured out where. And I can't find any pictures of it. One of these days I'll find it. Read more
As dash cameras go, this works really well. The 4K picture is very clear, and the night time performance is much better than my previous camera. The kit comes with everything you need to install it -- prying tool, alcohol wipes, power adapter cable, instructions, and a USB-A to USB-C adapter if you need one. Installation was easy after watching the video. The only challenge was getting the cables routed so that they fit inside the cover panel, but once you get everything tucked in and the cover snapped in place, it looks exactly the same as with the factory cover with the exception of the camera. Not having a power cable draped down from the rear view mirror to a 12V charging adapter is a HUGE bonus. You can access the camera via its built in WiFi and the FitCamX app. If you have a dash cam already, then you're probably familiar with this app as it's very similar to the other apps I've used. You do need to be patient when first turning on the car as it takes a little time for the camera to boot up and get ready for WiFi connectivity. At this time, the camera was on sale, but even at full price, it's worth it for the factory installed form factor as well as the high video quality. Read more
I bought this because my wife didn't want a dashcam hanging in the window. The integrated design was easy to install and looks great - like OEM. I researched it online and knew it had functional limitations - no voice commands, limited interface, awkward connection to the phone app so I knew what I was getting. Overall picture quality is good and I installed a large mini SD to keep more files available. I'm happy with the product despite it's functional limitations. Read more

Amazingly easy to install (less than 30 minutes from out of the box to done, including watching the video) and looks perfect- like it was factory-installed (2024 Tucson SEL Convenience). I truly appreciate that everything I needed to install and use it was included in the box - pry tool and SD card and clear instructions. It was worth paying a little more money for the quality. I hope to never need the video, but it’s pretty cheap insurance to avoid a “he said/she said” situation. I’m very impressed. Read more

One of the reviewers here says cable provided does not fit, he is installing it on a non auto dimming rear view mirror, product description specifically says for santa cruz with auto dimming mirror. OK, I installed this in a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz, It used the 10 pin harness that is located in the center of the overhead housing....I did not use the 6 pin for this install...(White) harness ends. When you place the camera housing against the windshield, place it slightly lower than the mount and slide it upward first then once the top part is secure against the windshield than push the lower half up against the windshield and it will snap into place and be firmly mounted. Just make sure the wiring harness is clear of the mounting tabs. Also, it took several tries to get the phone (Android) to connect to the cameras wifi....it eventually did and everything works fine, just be patient. Read more
There are two easily visible harnesses, a 6 pin and a 12 pin. While they make a 12 pin harness, the on included with the camera is a 10 pin harness. After a number of emails back and forth, I finally got a picture back to help identify where the oem 10 pin is at - tucked higher by the headliner. Once that was identified, installing the camera, app and set up was easy. Read more
