Not as easy as YT would have you believe but even so, once the OEM cover is FINALLY out installing is EXCEEDINGLY easy as long as you FOLLOW the video from Fitcamx for installing. To view the cam video remember to connect to the camera using WiFi and then open the FITCAMX app. Connect the camera and you can view those videos of all the MORON drivers holding up your progress. To keep the videos you can either remove the card or just save them into the album on the app. From there you can download them to your phone. You can setup the app for recording audio, should you want to listen to your colorful vocabulary. You can also set the video length and other options. The media could not be loaded. NOTE: There's a plastic attached to an electronic module under the oem trim. Do Not pull that down. You will want to pull on the trim just on top of that (Not closest to the windshield.) Also, remember to remove the lens cover. I recommend testing once the plugs are in and before you snap the plastic in place. Don't want to risk needing to remove the plastic again. Review: After breaking a couple clips off the OEM trim piece, installing the FitCam trim piece is easy. Luckily this camera replaced that whole plastic piece (watch their install video). Simple use to connect to the video using the app (requires wi-fi connection). I think it keeps recording even if you're phone isn't connected to the camera's wi-fi. You can just connect only when you need to check the video or change settings. I have a wireless Android Auto/Carplay dongle that needs my wifi as well so I give that priority. The camera only turns on when the car is fully on (ready to drive). Quality looks good so far. I like the stealth/low profile look of it (main reason why i bought it). My video is more of a cautionary tale. Not really a review. Just be careful when removing the oem plastic. I had my son-in-law install it and the install was easy. The images are bright and I live the app. I chose this because there are no tacky wires hanging down. Fitcam makes these cameras for most of the Hyundai/Kia line. Read more

I installed the camera and the app last week and like it, but I'm experiencing several issues. First, you can only log in to the app while in the car, and the car must be turned on. Second, my 2025 Ioniq has only 720 miles on it. I've charged it twice, and it used to charge over 310 miles at 80%. However, after installing the camera, it won't charge beyond 240 miles at 80%. I will remove it, put back the original cover, charge the car when needed, and repost. Read more
